Did you buy VG juices? If you want TH and flavor then you want high PG juices. PG lets flavor and nicotine's TH through the best (but also lets nicotine's irritation through well). VG is thick and dulls/smooths everything PG lets through but makes thicker visible vapor. I use 80PG/20Vg juices when I can get them because 20% is the most VG I will put in a carto. When I used an atomizer I bought 70PG/30VG juices.

Some have tried adding a little Everclear. In general, the higher the nicotine mg level, the harder the TH. Also, some flavors allow more TH. Dormouse is right though; PG has a harsher TH.

So, to answer your question, there is nothing you can do to increase TH without losing some flavor, but adding a little pure PG or Everclear may be worth a slight flavor decrease.

I've personally noticed that pure VG juices tend to need a little more nicotine than PG mixes for a desirable TH. For instance, if you normally like 12mg PG juice, try an 18mg VG juice. That's just my experience.

Good luck

Thanks for all the help, I have no idea what the base of the juice is, I will have to go back to the website to check. I will play around with the nic juice that i have. I have a bottle of 36mg PG nicotine and a bottle of 36mg VG. To increase my 12mg flavor to maybe 18mg, how much should I mix. I have a terrible problem trying to work out how to get the mixes right. Any help would be much appreciated. I have tried looking at the e-juice calculators, but I don't really understand them. Thanks again, in advance.

Have just received my juice from Virgin Vapor. I ordered some 12 mg flavors. The flavors are fantastic, but I'm not getting ANY throat hit!! What can I do to get TH without compromising the flavor?

I agree, Virgin Vapor juice tastes fantastic!

My guess is you ordered 100% VG; I made that mistake on my first order, quickly realized it and on all subsequent orders I requested 80/20 PG/VG...Annette has added that option to the drop down menu. If that's the case, I bet if you email Annette she will make your next order 100% PG and you can mix it with your current stuff and get a 50/50 mix and get that throat hit you're looking for!

Thanks wwturner, I checked out a review of AVE juices on youtube, and looks quite good, went to their site and unfortunately they do not ship to Australia, so will have to keep researching. I am a mature age female and do not understand about volts and ohms. I am vaping on ego batteries and ego atty's and 510's. Have no idea what voltage they are. But thanks for the info.

If you mix 10 ml of 12 mg. and 3 ml of 36 mg you'll have about 17.5 mg juice

(ml #1 x mg #1) + (ml #2 x mg #2)/ (ml #1 + ml #2)

eils51, if you can get any kind of Dual Coil XL Mega cartos shipped to you in Australia, it would be worth your while. They give a warmer, cleaner vape with good TH. They are typically 1.5 to 1.6 Ohm and work great with a 650mah or larger Ego battery. If you have a smaller Ego battery with less than 650mah, you could try the 2.0 Ohm versions that are available from some suppliers.
