I have most of the supplies to start DIY, but am still buying more flavorings, so I haven't actually made any yet. But I use a 40-place test tube rack now, that holds a 10mL bottle nicely in each of the holes (except the 1 at each corner), which is alittle smaller because of the slightly curved corners of the rack. I store my bought eliquids that come in that size in 1 now. The little 10mL plastic blunt-needle tipped bottles that I keep a variety of liquids in also fit in the holes. It even has a letter or number on each row and column of holes, so I know from my little cheat sheet of notes, for example, what flavor is in hole B6 or hole C9, etc.

Since I make jewelry also as a hobby, I use tall tubes with stoppers to keep some of my findings and beads in, and also use racks to organize them.

I bought about 20 of the racks from a plastics company that makes products for the medical, pharamaceutical, laboratory, scientific, and educational fields. They're normally quite expensive ($15.86 each), but I bought them as overstock, so I got a tremendous deal on them ($3.00). I also bought in quantity: 15mL dropper bottles, and 60mL, 150mL, and 250mL screw cap bottles, as well as beakers in 2 sizes, and graduated cylinders! I hit the jackpot on those, too!

As soon as I can figure out how to list some of them in the classifieds section, I'd really like to pass along the deals I got on some of the things to my fellow vapers. They're ALL much higher quality (because of the strict standards required for the above fields/industries) than anything people are buying made in China! They're all: PP, LDPE, HDPE, or PMP, and the specs for each type are very specific as far as temp. ratings, chemical resistances, etc..

Hiya @roxynoodle. Here is what I did to help keep flavors organized. My first step in DIY was to buy 30 ml tubes of flavoring until I found the ones I really needed an liked. So I went to my local vape shop and asked for 1 of the boxes they get their bottles of e juice in. They already have cardboard dividers in them. I them started a list of flavors, numbered the bottles and put them in an excel file for quick retrival. Looks like this:

Then I went to Walmart and bought a small 3 drawer file cabinet to keep my flavors and labware and everything you can think of. Kitchen sink is to the left of the drawer unit lol.

Did not cost a whole lot and keeps my stuff in 1 location (which was 1 of the wife's conditions for starting DIY'ing. :)

Hope that helps!

Hiya Roxy. Yes you can. I cut the flaps off the box so it would fit into my drawer, but I don't see why you could not stack them! The local B&M's throw away their shipping boxes so you are doing them a favor as well.

Not sure if skiball was saying boxes are 2" deep. The dividers are 4" tall and the box is 5" tall.

Help! I have enough of them now that its getting to be a pain looking through my cardboard boxes to find what I need. I need better organization. I would also like to seperate them by brand to make locating what I need easier as well.

How are you orgaizing these?

I'm unorganized too Roxy....I'll take notes from others...:)

Looks like a bomb hit this place.....:w00t:
