I think it looks awesome on the SS Stingray :)

Since I have the first batch Yeahsmo version with extra holes, I decided to drill out the biggest ones and the sleeve to 7/64"
Not filling the wells with cotton anymore - runs like a champ. I'm in love again.
I'd post a firing vid, but it's too much work.

I think I'm gonna pick up one of those Tobeco versions. Thanks for pointing those out.

Thanks for the pic! I have one of those SS Stingrays on the way.

These work so well I'm thinking of ordering another one. The draw is perfect, no whistling, easy to set up, and IMO one of the nicest looking on the market. That one I linked to must've seen the competition's prices, cuz they lowered their price. It's now a penny cheaper, lol.

i just ordered that same one (tobeco) from 88evape. i like the drip tip better than the yeahshmo (sp?) version. plus with the v1 and the v2 of the yeahshmo i wasnt sure which id be getting. plus i like the price better on this version. ~$25 shipped from eBay is a great price but i found 88evape is selling it for $21.99 with $2.99 shipping, and 5% off with code high5
total came to $23.88 so only a dollar ten cheaper but im not a big ebay guy and feel more comfortable ordering from a website for some reason.
cant wait to get it and get buildin!

has anyone set this up with dual vertical mesh wicks? thats how my buddy set his authentic version the first time i was introduced to one. it hit immaculately well.

I haven't set up a dual coil on my Tobeco clone yet, just a single horizontal with 28ga kanthal, about 8 wraps, comes in at 1.24Ω. I will definitely be attempting another coil on the other side.

Still can't find a single youtube video guide on suggested coil methods, but I learn better on my own trial-and-error anyway. Truth be told, it was kind of a PITA to put together, took me almost 30 minutes. The main problem I was having was getting the outside post to screw down on the coil properly. I don't know if it's the rounded edges but it kept slipping off as I would tighten it down.

edit: I should add that despite the high-ish degree of build difficulty (for me, at least), it's the best performing single-coil I've put together so far.

I got my tobeco Origen from 88eVape in. :)

Tinyest amount of machine oil, nothing to complain about.
Center post is brass, maybe copper all I know is it's not SS or some garbage metal. Minuscule burr on one air hole, cleaned up in seconds.
Neg posts are 1/16" Allen key, yet no Allen key was supplied lol. Good thing I have a set. The hole thru the pos post made dual coiling a breeze.
O-rings are goldilocks, not too tight not too smooth.

Coiled er up with 26g kanthal. 10 wraps each coil, 5/64" ID. Cotton wick. 10 drops per channel filled it up nicely.

Vapor is fluffy, plenty of air on the widest setting. With the coils directly in front of the holes, TH is thumping, just how I like it. Flavor is very good but not as good as my bottom air fed attys.

Overall I'm really liking this thing. It's giving my other new toy the 3D a jog for its money. Looks smashing on the nem. Very glad I took the plunge on this badboy.

Ugh. I got one in the mail today (Yeahsmo) and stripped the center post screw on my first build. Paid way too much for it too, figured it would be quality. Anyone have any ideas how I could salvage it? Don't they sell something similar in hardware stores? Maybe a nut? Really frustrated right now.

EDIT: Temporarily fixed by removing the bottom knurled section from the center post and using it above the wires to hold them down. Makes me nervous but at least I got to try it out. Still looking for a permanent solution, all help appreciated.

Plan on using it on a Nemesis, should look killer with both the devices having brushed + polished SS.

18350 mode should be pretty stealthy too (I ordered the Nemesis hybrid adapter from FT as well :D)

How is the cloud production on this, I am looking for flavour (Why I got into this hobby :)), but some clouds for swag never hurt :p

Cloud production is quite voluminous. Pretty impressive for a stock air hole (largest setting). I'm not even planning on widening mine. Flavor is great but not as rich as a bottom air atty. Or the 3d. That thing is killin it with flavor.

I got 2 if those hybrid kits coming. Folks are drilling two holes at 12 and 6o'ckock to create grip if it gets stuck.

But yea the origin looks superb on a nemesis with the brushed to polished transition.

That's basically how I have mine set up Kemosabe :)

I've drilled the holes on my Origen clone to 7/64". I run dual 24gauge .22ohm vertical coils with a small straight cotton wick.
I can get around 10 hits with the wells filled. Wicks amazingly well. Flavor and vapor production is awesome.
I just got a Magma clone (bottom airflow) and drilled it out to 7/64" with same coil set up as my Origen.
I have been vaping them back to back. And I think the Origen actually edges out the Magma. I think it's because of the taper and smaller chamber of the Origen. It's a close call, but I still think the Origen is better (and looks better too).
I don't have any pics of coil/wick set up for the Origen. But I can take some and post em if anyone wants.

The FT Nem 510 hybrid adapters don't come with little holes to remove it from your device - or if it gets stuck on the atty.
Sometimes when you unscrew your atty, the hybrid adapter will stay in the device. It would be quite difficult to remove it without little holes. I normally just stick a pair of tweezers in the holes to unscrew.
These are mine that I drilled 1/16" holes in.

looks nice, 4th. im still waiting on my chaplin drip tip clones to arrive to pull my setup together. yours looks like a chaplin but not really..
i like how you have the short throw on your nem. howd you do that?
i gotta agree about the wicking on the origen. ive got mine horizontal, the wicks just sop that liquid up til its bone dry. no leaking either which is kinda surprising. the flavor is interesting. im noticing different nuances in my juice. almost like a sharper flavor, with a different side of my juice being shown. less sweetness, too. its interesting; and i like it. overall just such a well-designed rda.

What bottom air atty are you using besides the 3D?

And I don't quite catch on the holes for grip thing.

the bottom air attys that i have in rotation are the M6 (which is an A7-styled rda) on my VMod, and a kayfun 3.1 clone. the 3D is not a bottom air fed atty. it gets its air from the sides.
i also have a bunch of Smok TTs (briefly popular Killer/Diver clone about a year ago) that i dont have in operation right now. they offer absolutely outstanding flavor but they look a bit ugly and the flooding/dry hit issue was enough to drive you bonkers. but when theyre ripping right, the flavor is magnificent.

Kemosabe - I am just using the brass portion of the hybrid adapter - so it is a direct contact to the battery. I just use flat tops and FDV magnets. I use either a FDV thicker/taller button contact, or the stock nem top 510 contact (in the switch), or stick an oring under the contact to get it up a little higher up.
My drip tip is not the Chaplin. It's a Cap It All Vapes G3 drip tip.
I have the Chaplins on order from FT - but my order is being held up by a replacement Stingray...restocking.

Thanks 4th, I will most probably also make those holes on he adapter, what did you use, will a standard drill tip do since it is brass or do I need a cobalt bit?

I love the short throw as well, once I have my Nemesis clone, I'll measure to find out what magnets to get, but sourcing stuff back to India is a pain. The use of the top cap contact in the switch is an interesting one, got to try that. :)
