Which RDA/Dripper provides the best flavor? Origen, Zenith or Immortalizer?

Just got my Zenith, and really dissapointed.

I went to unscrew the post screws for a build. One negative post wont move-- at ALL. So i tried the center pin... very tight... and then started to rotate the whole center post. The insulation started to "scrape away" from the post as it turned too.

Contacted the seller, he said he is going to contact his distributor, and then CMII ... ugh. Im sure ill wait a few days, then (hopefully) hear i just ship it back... wait... get another. Stinks for such a high priced atty.

Sorry to hear that. I've read of other complaints regarding the quality so I've avoided it

Wow...

i just got the Quasar... dudes, im telling you this thing is GREAT.

First, the machining and material are like no other rda ive tried, not even close. Its heavier, solid. Excellent brushed finish, and engraved for all pieces (not laser etched). I got the Crescent Moon driptip with it and its also gorgeous.

But aside from the quality and material... this is the hands down best best best flavor ive had from a dripper, bar none. Beats the Helios, Atomic, Trident, Omega, and Patriot. Insane. Check them out.

Thanks for the info but i looked at the Quasar and other then adjustable airflow i really didn't see anything new it offered that set it apart from all the other usual 3 post RDAs that would benefit it in the flavor department.

I am hearing bad things about the Zenith now, lol.. Looks like i will just go with a Origen v2 since i find the v1 to be the best RDA i have ever used.

what's different is the domed shape, super small chamber, hidden o rings, and the airflow adjustment doesn't require you to take off the top cap or expose the coils

No - the airflow requires you to a) take off the cap, align the size hole you want next to your coils. b) put the top cap/sleeve over it and align its holes with the ones you have positioned next to your coils.

The Quasar (and Zenith) have ONE hole in the cap. Alighn it to your coils- boom. Never have to take it off again to adjust airflow. You spin the top cap (or ring for zenith) and expose as much of that single hole as you want. Way easier to adjust on the fly.

origen v2 has the same o-ring style as the quasar (inside the topcap instead of the base)

you don't have to take off the topcap to adjust airflow. the topcap is 2 parts with a sliding airflow ring. adjusting the airflow is simple as a twist of the airflow ring and twist the topcap a bit to align with coils

I absolutely love my Quasar. The flavor is fantastic. but I do have a couple complaints. Firsts the screws loosen easily. I have to re-tighten them at least a couple times a day. My other issue with it is it cuts wires very easily. I can live with both of these problems, but it would have been nice if it didn't have these issues.

But again, the flavor is fantastic.

Right, thats different than the Quasar. For the Origen you have to align the holes in the top cap (if you can re-adjust that to line up without taking it off to see the coils, you really need to have "memorized" where your coils are). Then you align the AFC ring to those holes. No need for that on the Quasar. Just spin the top ring and you are done, no re-aligning anything with the coils at all. Just one pair of holes in the cap for whichever airflow you want to dial in.

Not saying its a huge deal, just pointing out the differences which someone asked about. These are all great choices and you really cant go wrong w/ any of them!

So anyone have a idea where i can find a Origen V2? or who carries them that i can keep a eye on for when they come back in stock?

Anywhere other then Ultravape.. That place is a rip off.. 150 for the Origen v2 and they wanna charge a extra 25 for a drip tip that already comes with it for free? So 175 for a RDA that sells for 105-110.00? lol

i would wait for vapingcraze to stock them, they ship fast and their prices are fair. you can also look out in the classifieds...but doesn't look like many people are going to be sellings theirs. i haven't heard of anyone not liking the V2s.

REgarding the magma.. i was looking into it and got this PM from someone who had it (and sold it).

Here is what he said when i asked him about the origen vs. Magma:

one was definitely messier than the other - the Magma. Now, the Magma has a well that seems like it has twice the capacity of the Origen's wells, and the flavor is a bit more intense, but not to say the Origen is muted - the Origen is awesome. But re: the 'mess'. After use, when you take the top cap off (pulling in the Origen's case, unscrewing in the Magma's), there is condensed and spattered liquid EVERYWHERE in the Magma. I don't know why this is - perhaps the dome design inside, perhaps the under-the-coil air intake. And because it's a dome inside, the liquid spatter easily travels right down the sides... and because there are no o-rings, when you unscrew the cap, you will get some juice in the cap threads on the base. That juice will eventually get into the gap between the airflow ring and the body. And if you don't clean it up every couple days, that juice will eventually seep enough to start dripping out of the airflow control ring and down your mod. In my experience.
