I'm not one to buy all three, I just need one to do the job. Now which one would you pick to do that job if you only could pick one?

I'm seeking flavor here. I have the Trident V2 currently as my one an only rda and it's time to upgrade to something delicious.

My next pickup will be the Plume Veil 1.5 so clouds will be covered in the near future... That should top all required components for my vaping needs for months to come.

I own all 3, both authentic and clone. Bearing in mind that I don't care about fog machines - just flavor - and tend to run 0.3Ω and above...
Of the three, the Origen V2 is my favorite for flavor, with the Veritas a close second... and for out and about use without concerns about leaking, probably my overall favorite.
I still use the Magma... well, did use it - I recently gifted my authentic to a friend, and can't figure out the last place I left the clone. ;-)

If I could only pick one as an all-arounder... Veritas. For at home and limited vehicle use... Origen. For sub 0.3Ω (which I rarely do anymore)... Origen or Magma. The insulation on the Veritas is best suited for 0.4Ω and above... IMO.

If you get a clone Veritas, although the Tobeco version isn't bad... get the EhPro version. They've copied the countersunk "nut" style insulator, which works better for low resistance builds and is easier to replace. (this last bit of information is based on the versions I know today... it may all end up as obsolete tomorrow)

Nice! Thanks for the input people. More is appreciated but as of right now it sounds like the Veritas is for me and that is a relief as that was the one I've been looking at most. I like that it is a good portable flavor machine that isn't likely to leak. Some downfalls on the Magma is the difficulty in swapping flavor and leaking, or so I've heard, and that doesn't appeal to the way I go about my everyday.

While my Magma does tend to leak when full changing flavors is not an issue for me. I just make sure that I have vaped the wells dry before changing juices. It might also help that I use rayon for my wick.

But yeah, SOF knows his stuff and since he owns all 3, his opinion is much more qualified than mine.

I wouldn't say that jax... it's all so subjective, with so many variables, that every opinion is perfectly qualified, but... unless the 'recommendee' vapes identically to the 'recommender'... who's to say they'll have an identical experience?

The Plume Veil is a good example. I bought one and sold it the next day. Same with the Tugboat and Stillare... bought and sold. They simply don't fill my needs... but for many, they're the greatest thing ever.

This doesn't apply to you jax, but... but how often have you seen someone recommend an RDA, and you know damn well it's the only one they own - they've had it for a week, have only been dripping for two weeks - and although it's the greatest thing they've tried so far... it's certainly not the greatest thing there is.

Same thing applies to anything really. When I was in the gun biz - "what AR or 1911 is the best" - as though there's a "best" for one and all applications. At least with guns, you can narrow down the users needs... but with vape gear, so much of it is "taste based". :p

Wow! That does make total sense.

The subjectiveness of it all is very diverse. I totally agree that there is no "one best" in any category, for any one person suggesting to another person, be it vaping gear, guns, skis, or surfboards. "The best" is what that user is enjoying at that particular time.

I just felt that you were better qualified to answer this particular question as you have tried all 3, where as, I have only experienced one.

Ah well... who's to say. I guess that's what makes it a never ending search for that magical vaping experience... hiding right inside the next RDA. ;-)

How's the airflow on the Veritas? I know its technically "adjustable airflow" but does it work as well as something like the Magma's? I have a Magma, and I typically keep it in single coil on the smallest airhole (I like me my mouth-lungs) but sometimes run bigger airholes for the occasional lung hit. But all around I prefer the smallest hole, thats practically like the perfect airhole size for me.

But I've been interested in the Veritas because of all the good things I've heard about flavor and the "leak free" design. I love the Magma, but it does tend to leak a bit between the afc ring after vaping it for a while due to juice accumulating on the deck and finding its way through the threading.

OP... I only own one (Magma) of your (3) in question; however i've vaped on all of them with various builds. Honestly, they're all VERY good. (Awesome group of 3 you chose!)

Being that i'm not intimate with either the Origen or Veritas... i can only say the Magma is a dream to build and use. The Origen appears easy to build and a solid design. (I'm not a fan of the AFC however) I've never build on a Veritas but it is the most "complex" of the bunch. It does taste great with the small chamber.

Those who own... is that odd dual single strand coil a pain in the ...... cause it looks like it would be.

I hated everything about my magma. After it fell apart on week 2 I received my replacement 3.5 months later. After that experience I gave it a month to win me over.... the limited airflow even when fully open drove me insane, the stupid pointless delrin block in the middle takes way too much of the drip well (I removed it but that's beside the point) and the incredibly fine cap threading can be a hassle as well. Origen v1 or 2 is a much better choice for a dripper w\ some juice storage. That's my 2 bits.

Was your magma a authentic or a clone? 3.5 months for a replacement. Who did you buy it from
