I Knew The Veritas Was All Gimmick

Industrial fog machine there- I bet the vapor is dense. I do not use that much wicking though. Does the washer help trap that lead between the nuts?

haha fog machine! It did surprise me how much more and denser the vape is with this build. I think the washer did help a bit especially with that thick twisted wire but it did still try to pull the wire. I figured it may also stir the airflow up a bit which may be a good thing.

After I saw your comment I decided to test it. The flavor is much better with the extra wick on top!

Interesting, I thin I will give that set up another try then.

After a couple months with my pair of clones, i have had exactly 2 leaks, TWO LEAKS, they were literally a drop or two and i keep it pretty juiced up all the time (wells almost overflowing).

It's gotten to the point where when i use anything else, i end up with at best a tiny leak or worst a handful of juice, because i've stopped paying attention to how i set/lay down my rig, and apparently developed a tendency to over-drip...lol.

I'll go out on limb and say its one of the more underappreciated atties on the market.

If only there was some feasible way to make it a bottom feeder...

I'm the very satisfied owner of a couple of Veritas clones, and they're amazing.

No leaks, ever. Just the occasional drop of juice spitting back from the air hole when the (single, horizontal) coil pops.. It's worth mentioning I keep the Veritas vent hole fully open, though, so I've learned to turn it away from me

To sum it up: no leaks, excellent vapor, good flavor. Last but not least, you can vape this atom at any angles, it works no matter what.

It's a clever design, to the point I'll gladly buy the original at my earliest opportunity. Brilliant atomizer designers deserve to be supported..

Oh, did I mention it doesn't leak?
