That's actually the logo from a band called The Dead Rabbits, but they took the name from an 1800's NY Irish Immigrants street gang..... think "Gangs of New York"

A band ? I'm guessing Irish rock?. Gonna have to look them up. And yes. From the 2 day riot of NY 7/4-5/1857(yeah I looked it up)
