I just have to say that a lot of the things I have seen being posted are NOT really obsolete!!!
You can still find Ant Farms, Sea Monkeys, paper cutters (used mainly for crafting), Mood Rings, TV trays (although most of them are made from wood now...), table-top juke boxes (at 50's style diners) and even some car-hop/drive in restaurants, phone books still get dropped of at our building every year, Hula Hoops are being used in a lot of exercise classes these days... and most of all:
Vinyl LPs have NEVER stopped being made!! A lot of bands will do a 'special limited release' on vinyl, especially some of the indies... including a prog band named Porcupine Tree (I know Krusty can appreciate that...

) True audiophiles know that digital recordings can
never have the quality of sound that analog has... although they DO make a turntable that allows you to convert your old LPs to digital!!
