I always enjoyed going camping with the family. We had a large tent and we roughed it. I was a Cub Scout den mother several times over, and the last year before going into Boy Scouts we were able to go camping. So much fun. Great memories!
I love to sing! I sing along with everything and if I don't know the words I hum along. I will continue to hum the last song I heard for hours, or until another song I hear replaces it. My kids still make fun of me because I used to hum along with their video game music when they played, and embarrassed them in the grocery store humming in the aisles.

1.
Shopping has to be my funnest hobby. I love to shop and finding the best deals is like a game to me. I never, ever pay full price for anything.
Writing fiction and poetry is something I used to do (when I had the time). Not so much these days (unless you count a lot of writing I've had to do for various jobs), but I do very occasionally go back to writing haiku to keep my chops up. Maybe I'll return to it someday...

2. I tried learning to crochet, I could do a simple blanket, but couln't do what I wanted to do and I got frustrated after a few dozen blankets. I wanted to do the fancy stuff, be couldn't figure out how to get the stitches right just by reading the how to books. (This was before I had internet and youtube)
I enjoy attempting to figure out how things work... anything from my computer to my car... I got to take it apart... when I got my first rba I went through 20 coils just building and testing heres a few I decided to keep... my girl couldnt get me to even take a break to eat. Might have a problem...
I think my online shopping could definitely be considered a hobby, I spend hours looking through different items, and I always make sure I find the best deal on anything I buy

contests and sweepstakes (other places as well as here)
I used to do a lot of the ones that our base radio station held - so much that some of the DJ's knew my voice and we had a great phone relationship. They don't do them to much anymore

I used to play the violin a lot.
Nowadays, it became my boy's noisy toy....
Okay, at least he likes to play with it... hope he will learn how to play soon....
