Along time ago, I made this concrete bench in memory of my father, I had to drive it to AZ, too heavy to mail. (I know he had a famous name, but he had it first)
I love to write, so a few years ago I joined a writing site. I wrote a few short stories and a lot of poetry. I won a few contests and had a great time. I'm thinking about doing it again.
I used to do a lot of petit point and lace making of all kinds. Everything was very complicated, and took forever. I made a lot of beautiful things, (sold them all), but got burnt out, and can't even think about doing them any more.
Reading......mainly thrillers. John Grisham type legal novels. Medical thrillers. Loved the early Stephen King and Dean Koontz books...not wild about their newer ones. Stephen King's son writes some really good ones...they're like his dad's earlier stuff. NOS4A2 was great!

1. Another crafty phase I went through was cross stitching. I did it for a while and as with everything else, I got bored with it after I mastered it.
Wifeyco, your stained glass work is beautiful! I love stained glass.
I've always wanted to try it, but I know I'd spend a ton of money, either learn it or mess it up, (probably mess it up) then get bored with it.
