One of the places I've been to that was the most FUN . . .

"Toronto Canada" - Had so much FUN ! ! ! Visiting a Friend who lived a couple of blocks from Church Street - the "Gay Village" there, and going to a lot of different places that included the "Farmer's Market" and a trip to the "CN Tower" where I just had to walk over the glass floor where "You" can look down 1,122 ft to see the ground - TALK ABOUT BEING

#2 - Another trip I went on with my mom was to Philadelphia...had a good time going to Independence Hall, Ben Franklin Institute, comparing Philly Cheesesteaks at Geno's and Pat's.

For a couple of years, I actually lived across the ball park from Geno's :)thumbs:) & Pat's :)nah:) . . .

Sycuan Casino in El Cajon, CA is another place that I have had a ton of fun, mainly because I won quite a bit of money in their nightly poker tournaments

My favorite was the "main event" of a tournament series called the October Freezeout (or something like that), as I ended up making it down to the final 3 (out of around 100). The 3 of us ended up making a deal to split the prize money, and I walked away with almost $1,400 :D

Funny, but I preferred Geno's too....it was 2007 when we were there, so don't know what the prices were like compared to when you lived there, but seemed kind of expensive to me at the time! Still had to try them because, well I was in Philly and couldn't leave without trying them...why that would be un-American!

While visiting a Venezuelan seaside resort with my parents (along with many others, mostly from European countries, who were attending a meeting), a political scandal forced the president to flee the country and fears ran high that the government would topple. The instability forced the closure of the airports on the day we were to fly back to Caracas and from there, fly home. We were forced, instead, to take buses along the narrow, twisting, one-lane, mountain roads (a 14-hour white-knuckle experience in itself), and put up in a downtown hotel--with the hope that flights would resume the next day.

Perhaps it was fatalism that overtook many of us, or maybe it was just the fact that we were just relieved to have survived the bus trip, but many of the younger crowd (myself included), flooded the hotel bars (there were two: the ground floor counter and the roof-top lounge, complete with a big brass band). I managed to catch up with a girl from Switzerland whom I had befriended on the trip and, finding the bars too crowded, joined a few others in search of a nightclub several blocks away. We almost turned back as soon as we stepped outside, for the streets were patrolled by men in uniform with machine guns--but were they there to keep order or establish control following a coup?

We did make it safely to the club, had a fabulous time, stumbled back to the hotel,,,, and all managed to fly out the next morning.

what place have you had the most fun in?

I've lived in Colorado for a long, long time and that brings to mind some of the most fun times I've had here!
Summers in the Rocky Mtns are the greatest, well the winters are too but was thinking of some of the camping trips I've
been on in the summer and one was with my girl friend who is now my wife. We went over the Cottonwood pass out of Buena Vista, which goes over the Continental Divide to the west and comes out by an old town called Tin Cup by the Taylor Reservoir and then on to a place called the Spring Creek Reservoir, it's kind of a semi wilderness area near Crested Butte and a town called Almont Co and we camped there by the spring creek and small lake for a few days. Well on the first night, sleeping in our small tent, we awakened to loud sounds like a Big Foot or Moose or something...the sounds of like big creatures stomping through the swampy areas by the creek & lake!
Well I had my gun & flashlight and we went out to investigate with our dog also and couldn't see a thing, went back in tent and then the loud sounds would start again and all night long this went on!
In the morning we checked all around for foot prints & such and then I heard the sound and it was Beavers slapping their tails on the water with such force you could hear it echoing through the canyon and sounded like a herd of animals stomping through a swamp...WOW! We were lol for sure, there was a family of Beavers living there!
We got used to the sounds and everything there and had a great time chopping firewood, catching fresh trout to eat and generally having a great time camping! :) Sorry for the long story but there are many more and much longer! :vapor:

#2 - Our dad used to take us camping a lot when we were kids...on of my favorite places we ever went was Little River Canyon in Alabama...It's a beautiful park that is part of the Appalachian Mountains where you can hike, swim, kayak and canoe...we had such a good time exploring it.
