When I was in high school (everyone knows what its like at that age ) my Mom showed my boyfriend at the time the family albums. Of course the very first picture in the album that was opened was of me in my favorite huggies shirt..... smiling like a dork because I was so proud of that shirt at the time...lol

My mom dragged my dad and I to go see "My Left Foot" in the theater. She kept falling asleep and snoring very loudly. We'd wake her up, but she would just fall back asleep and start sawing wood all over again.

I'm an only child, and most of the family/cousins I have are back East, some of which I've never even met... and I can't think of anything right now that my Mom ever did to embarrass me... so I guess I'll have to sit this one out...

This one is a hard one.... and is really making me think.

My first formal dance was the Christmas Formal, but I was 14 and so my mother offered to drive. My date turned out to be from a wealthier family than I had ever suspected--and it was quite embarrassing when we rolled up to her nice house with a Jaguar and a Mercedes parked outside in a 15-year-old car with squeaky suspension and leaking oil.

Every once in a while a contest comes up that I can't enter, because it is just too personal. A lot require selfies, and I don't like to do that either.

I'm on another thread, where people have been putting up really neat art work. There has been 3D street art, Stained glass, Surreal art, Food art, and all sorts of interesting things like that which are fun to look at, and easy to find on the internet. I'd rather see contest like that than personal ones.
