What was the worst or craziest thing your parents or family member have ever done to embarrass you?
With only me knowing this horrible personal story that my friend told only to me & no one else and would never ever want anyone else to know and that I somehow told my X wife about and no one else & knowing she would never say anything! Well there we all were at the party, my friend that told me the personal story and all the others that didn't know and me & my X wife.
Well to make a long story short, while we were all sitting around a big table, my X just says out of the clear blue, HEY I heard that bla, bla bla and etc, etc and all of that story that no one was supposed to hear about and with my friend looking at me, knowing I'm the only one that knows! WOW all I can say is...I don't know if you'd say this is embarrassing and was more devastating than most anything I can remember and she didn't think she did anything wrong! I could never really face my friends again but we all got over it in time I guess? Even now if someone asks...what happened with your first marriage? This story hits me right in the face and that was just one reason of what happened...Unbelievable, embarrassing, and
..........sorry for the long story but all I could think of right now!

Yep, getting the full name yell from a parent, with extra emphasis using the middle name, probably one of the more embarrassing things as a kid.

When I was in high school, I actually saw this happen to one of the girls. I developed a real phobia about it happening to me, and always double checked to make sure my dress was okay before I left the girls room.

I guess I must have had a pretty good time growing up. I don't really remember anything my parents or siblings did to embarass me. It was more me embarassing them. I made my entry so now I'll go read what others have posted and have a good laugh.

My boston terrier, I consider her a part of my family, can have the foulist gas and it is really embarrassing when people have to leave the room to breath. But I love her anyway.

It was embarrassing as a teen when my mom would sing along to the music my friends and I liked. Mom's aren't supposed to like our music!
