Sometimes it's fun be the one doing the embarrassing

Went to pick up my son from a school dance when he was in 8th grade and he was saying good night to his girlfriend (her mom was standing nearby) and they gave each other a little hug - I said "That's it, just one quick little hug?" Those two kids went bright red real fast. Her mom didn't seem real happy about it either but I didn't care as I had my fun. (glad I didn't have any daughters)

#1 - I'm like some of the others on here...I can't really think of anything my family did to embarrass me...I'm usually pretty good at doing that my own self...and those I'd rather not share...don't want to get "Moved On" either! :p

So I'll just stick to things I find on the net...

I totally understand! Awkward family photos from the internet are OK too =)

Congrats Redd!!

I'm an only child, and most of the family/cousins I have are back East, some of which I've never even met... and I can't think of anything right now that my Mom ever did to embarrass me... so I guess I'll have to sit this one out... :(

No need to sit it out!! Just find some awkward family photos online and that is fine for the entry =)

I don't know if this would be embarrassing or awkward or? I don't know but maybe appropriate somewhere and think most would disagree and wonder what's up with this!
Bonnie & Clyde when they were young family pics and Clyde was upset, Ma & pa made him wear glasses and the rest is history, no lie! :D

Not An Entry . . .

WELL - Gonna be busy the next few days . . . Later this afternoon I hit the road to go to "My" Best Friends home for the next few days and Thanksgiving . . . So I will not be on ECF to much and thought I would post this today, especially since I will not have access to a computer . . .

Once when I was about 9 or 10 we had a family get together at my grandma's house. After dinner a group of the adults would sit at the table and play poker for fun. I knew the basics so I begged them to let me play. Finally my favorite jokester uncle agreed. I was so excited to be allowed to play cards with the grown ups. I knew everyone was supposed to take turns dealing and I was excited to do it even though it took me much longer to shuffle the cards than it did the adults. After about a dozen hands or so I noticed that my uncle handed me the deck to shuffle and deal after I had just done it the last hand. I said, "Didn't I just shuffle the last time?" He said, "Why stop now...you've shuffled every time so far!" Everyone burst out laughing. They were all just waiting to see how long it would take me to notice. I was embarrassed, but I still kept playing even though my uncle still tried to hand me the cards after every hand.
