Mom's Nativity Scene. Mom had this before she had Me so I have never had a Christmas with out it. I used to get into trouble for moving the figures round

I have to swipe this one moonie. Mom's set was just like this. baby Jesus was not put out until Chritmas Eve. It was the last thing she did before we went out the door to midnight mass.

One year, I received a toy cable car...

We opened most of our Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve--Christmas morning was reserved for Santa's gift and stockings. Since Santa only had one gift to deliver, he also sometimes set it up. The problem was, he attached it to the wall that separated our living room from my parents' bedroom... Like any good child, I was up at the crack of dawn to see what Santa had delivered and as I played, the squeaking of the top pulley and the banging of the cable car against the wall did not make my parents very happy.
