Don't know if anyone posted or noticed this but I was changing juice in my Orion and did not get the tank seated properly when I screwed the cap on I noticed the hole was in a new spot. Slowly a light bulb started flickering then as the bulb brightened I screwed the cap down till it lined up perfectly with the wick. it left aprox .5 mm of gap between the bottom of the tank and the mod. Cool I can live with a hair line gap to have the cap lined up where I want!

Buzz,
A similar thing happened to me on my Short DID. I think I may have cross threaded it especially since the threads on the DID are so "fine".
I tried screwing it on while putting upward pressure and tried screwing if off while putting downward pressure but it didn't correct the problem. I finally put a rubber O-ring on before screwing the cap on and that fixed the problem. The top cap does put pressure on the O-ring though in order for the top cap hole to line up with the SS wick. On another note I've heard of some people using dental floss to take up the gap between the body and top cap.

I don't worry about a slight gap, even on the DiD clones, which are notorious for not lining up. After lining the hole up with the wick, even if the cap isn't all the way tight, I hold my thumb over the air hole, and attempt to take a drag, without pressing the power button. As long as no air leaks by, it's good to go.
