I enjoy the responses. This a fun get together.

We all love our cars and pets. I drive a Jeep Wrangler that I enjoy a lot. Last week my parrot that I had for over 30 years died. I miss him. We have I guess 3 dogs now. People down the road moved and left a great dane behind. My husband has been feeding her for the last couple of months anyway. She has been gaining weight. I hope it is just because she is well fed and not pregnant. She looks like Marmaduke and her name is Mama Duke. We have a long haired chihuahua and a long haired Jack Russel. They are both very sweet. My husband has also been feeding some feral cats. They are cute but they are untouchable.

Hey Stormy - here's my Wrangler - notice the decal at lower left - Terminator who else and tire cover - hahahah

Pets don't have to be brilliant to be adorable. The smartest pet I ever had was a crow. Its name was Heckle and he or she lived up to the name. He was a thief and a pest but was very adorable. We raised him from a naked baby but he eventually flew away with the other crows.

While we are at it - I wouldn't mind having one of these three genius's as a pet

I love a glass of scotch, hikes and bonfires; foraging for wild edibles. Cooking is my undying passion, I love taking beautiful raw ingredients and turning them into something refined and elegant. Reading at the cottage with rain on the tin roof is just about the most relaxing thing to me. When I need to let loose, I like to have a few too many drinks listen to punk rock and play pool with a cocky attitude.

Of course all of these are complimented with a good vape :D

Bristow, Ok.
A good vape makes everything better.

Of course, my darling cat is one of my favorite things. I'm irked at my other half, so he doesn't make the list right now. I love water; the most peaceful I've ever been was at Niagara Falls. Streams and waterfalls are awesome, too. Curling up in a BIG overstuffed chair with my Kindle is awesome, too. It'd be really nice to have a BIG overstuffed chair to complete that scenario :(.

Seriously though other then family and GG's Automobiles, a good book and the internet.

Fright, a quick question if I may. Did you recite this from heart or did you have to look it up. I am impressed

I love this thread too, especially because we have two fans of Niagara Falls in it :D

Any artists in here? It's a talent I wish I had. Watching people draw is one of my most favourite things.
Yep! I do a bit of drawing and painting, both as a relaxing hobby and occasional freelance editorial illustration work.
I just wish I had some musical talent:D We've all got our skillz!:)

I nearly froze when I went to Niagara Falls. My brother said not to bring a jacket. I do love him dearly but I should have learned when I was a child to not do everything my brother told me to. It was my fault. I could have killed him when he went back to get his jacket out of the trunk of the car.

Me, too, Stormy! I went in March 2004 and it was still frozen for the most part. I actually have pictures on an OLD website. Please don't laugh if you look; it was my first digital camera and 2MP was the best back then! Needless to say, they are pretty small :). Just ignore the webset buttons, too; they are pretty obsolete since all were made for 800 x 600!
