Here's a few photos of a Christmas gift I made for a very nice young Lady foreign exchange student from Hong Kong that is a friend of my grand daughter. The young Lady will be spending Christmas day with us, so I wanted to make sure that there is a little something under the tree for her from my wife and I. Inside the box will be one of my 3D Washington Raindeer too. :)

I sure hope she likes the gift! :)

amazing! How many times did you have to redo the lettering, or how many saw blades you kill doing it? Its not call ironwood for nuthing. And some awesome lacquer work. I wish I had that skill and patience!

Thank you everyone! :) I appreciate all the wonderful compliments! :)

Believe it or not plarkinjr, the letters were cut out only once with no mistakes or broken blades. :) But when I got done the teeth were almost completely worn off the blade! I have been Scroll Sawing intricate items for well over 20 years, so I do get lucky and turn out a few neat items. :)
