Oh I see. Forgive the duh moment. I knew it didn't make sense.

Reminds me of the time I decided to have most of my hair cut off. It was down past my waist. I knew by the next day that I'd grow it all back. Took me a couple of years for that. That's a long time when you're waiting.

I really need a larger lens... currently I am capped at 200mm

You could always buy either a 1.4X extender or a 2X extender. That's cheaper than buying a $1,500 lens.

Thank you for the compliment Chad! I got up with great expectations of taking photos of the moon, only to find that we were socked in with a Heavy, Dense Fog and High Cloud cover! So much for the Eclipse photos I planned for!
