OMG! I am SO jealous!! That's absolutely ADORABLE!! LMAO!!

I'm sorry if you've already posted the 'story' on here, but, considering she seems to already have her own moniker, is this a family friend?

GREAT PICS!

We have a 22 month old Doberman that brings a little gray squirrel that visits our window ledge a few times a day, 'Dobie Treats' (usually a sock or a piece of 'blankie'), desperately trying to make friends!

The squirrel's not having it though but DOES seem equally interested in the dog.

Chloe, Bertha, and George<grin> were abandoned as infants and found their way into our care at the beginning of this Winter. We fed them with an eyedropper when they were infants. They were kept inside for quite some time and then we converted our front entryway to a squirrel home and would let them in occasionally. Just 2 weeks ago or we finally released them. We put nuts out on the patio and would see them out there every day, but it wasn't until 1 week had passed that Chloe started coming up to us again. The last 2 days she is being really social and climbing up on my lap to get nuts and even laying across my shoulders to rest for a minute. It is indeed a very special thing. Squirrels are not meant to be pets and I would never try to keep one......but it is neat that she can come to us on her own terms now. There are other pics back in this thread(posts 52-54ish).

Margie has a bunch of videos up on youtube that show them from very young to after release. Just go the vid below on youtube and click on selfmadedoll to view the others.

My pup Precious, my wife calls her my second wife because she has to be with me every minute of the day or she gets touchy. This is one of her favorite spots on a pillow in the middle drawer of my desk.
She even has to sleep in my pillow case with me like it's a sleeping bag.

I have four dogs;

1 Weiner dog named Dinky. She's the smallest but rules with an iron paw.

1 Weiner dog named Wylie. He's a rescue and very timid. Needless to say scared to death of Dinky.

1 Weiner dog named Max. He can't hold his urine. Nuff said.

1 Min Pin named Jake. He's so cute, I could squeeze the stuffin' out of him.

I have rescued and rehomed 4 other dogs and I loved each and every one of them. They are all special.

I think I will. :)

I was on the way home two days ago and saw a puppy limping in the street. It freakin broke my heart because I couldn't get to it since I was in a construction zone. Went out yesterday with the old lady and tried to find him but we couldn't. The guilt is killing me. :(

I rescued a Chihuahua a year and a half ago. This dog drove me crazy trying to please him. I finally figured out that Chihuahuas think they are royalty and expect to be treated as such. Now I just laugh at him.

I have three dogs, all medium-sized rescute mutts. The first two are Jack and Samantha (characters in Stargate) and the third is Claudia (named by my French sister-in-law, who gave her to me because she'd never had a dog before and didn't realize how much work they are.

We have two cats, both of which showed up at our doorstep at separate times. We may have kittens on the way (an accident that reminds us that cats go into heat sooner than you think they will so get them to the vet, darnit).

In another couple weeks we'll be getting six female chicks. We're currently getting their homes ready.

Eventually, we plan to have goats and maybe a sheep or two, but that's in the ten-year plan.

We live on seven acres in NE Georgia, and I love it here!

Woot! Chihuahuas ROCK!

*high-five* :D
Yes they do especially if you adore them, as they only expect it as their due for their loyalty and companionship.
We have 8 as my wife and mother in law wanted to breed them and then found out they couldn't part with them. They all have their own unique personalities and are a treat to have around. And to think before we got them I used to be one of those guys that wanted a big dog or nothing.

Yup. It's the personality that got me. They're just awesome. ;)
