For me, smoking was not just about the nicotine, but the image it gave me and the action of doing it. I always said, "Anyone who says smoking doesn't make you look cool is a .....ing liar." And just having something to do with my hands and the action of smoking a cig made me less nervous in social situations.
Vaping, thanks to V4L's models and color options, looks even cooler than smoking, IMO. I love the XL batteries (back when I smoked cigs, I even had a Cruella DeVille style cig holder to get that old-fashioned glamorous look), the fact that I could get them in pink and green, and the colored LED lights are so rad. I feel like I have a raver cigarette with the blue and green LEDs haha. Also, I like the auto option, since fiddling with a button while driving was soo not safe for my ADHD self.
Plus, who wants to smoke something that tastes bleh, gives you bad breath, leaves a nasty smell on your clothes/hair/car/house, and causes you to stop what you're doing when in public to walk outside when you can vape things that have no smell, taste like deliciousness, and are allowed indoors?!
I love everyone on this board in general...they're all cool and interesting in different ways. I'd like to say thanks to checkflag and sooperdrave, though, for being the first two to add me as a friend! Also, I know we may have gotten off on the wrong foot, but I respect Adrenalynn a lot due to how incredibly smart she is, and I hope we get along from now on.
