I am having a really hard time here. I was vaping for about 3 weeks when my I got the burnt tongue feeling that others have posted about. I actually thought I burnt my tongue on hot chocolate, but then it didn't go away and I realized it's from vaping. It's better in the morning and when I can put down my PV for awhile so I know that's what's doing it. And no, I haven't stopped smoking analogs completely. I am finding it hard to stay away from vaping though, but it hurts so bad! And I hate to smoke more to make up for it. I really do because I hate smoking, but I feel like I have no choice. I have read just about all the posts on here about others who have had the same experience, and have tried what they suggested, but it's been 5 days of pain now. I tried rinsing my mouth with hydrogen peroxide, Biotene, even olive oil and drinking copious amounts of water. Nothing has helped whatsoever, except not vaping. That makes me so sad, because I felt like I finally found the only thing that was keeping me from smoking. Others said they figured out it was the nicotine level, but I only vape 6, 9, or 12mg anyway so I really don't think that's it. I thought maybe it was a PG sensitivity, and I had 100% VG liquid on it's way. I opened that mail up so excited, thinking it would cure my problem, but it didn't help either! I am out of ideas and really in pain. Any other ideas fellow vapers!

have you tried bottom coil clearomizers? give the kanger t3 a whirl and see if it helps..it's a cooler vape because the coil is further away from the tip..I don't know if it'll help but for 5$ it's worth a shot..

also tuck your tongue down beneath the lower set of teeth to get it out of the way of incoming vapour..I was getting inflamed taste buds on the tip of my tongue and this helped me out..might help you also..

W/out knowing what you're vaping with (equipment-wise), or what your smoking habit is/was - tough to say.

Suggestions:

  • Drip Tip (if none is being used)
  • Increase Nic level (you're vaping relatively low levels - perhaps too low to curb craving)
  • Lysine(vitamin isle) to help with healing tongue/lips/etc

Can't say much otherwise - w/out details.

you don't give details of your set up
personally i had problems of all sorts with vaping including a burning tounge, when i did not use top of the line cartomizers, and top of the line batteries and chargers.
ecigs have kept me away from analogs now for a few years with only one re-lapse temporarily when i first started.
i no longer use ecigs or smoke analogs
my two cents is to not beat yourself up
my set-up was a simple one- i purchased all my stuff from vapor for life- they have the quality of equipment that worked out for me, i think i used the wow blank cartomizers and just filled my own ejuice that i got from lite cigs because of the reasonable prices and fast shipping. vapor for life has higher prices, but take it from me, who tried the cheaper products-you get what you pay for.
good luck to you.

Hey guys, thanks for the advice. Sorry, I am using the Volt X2 manual's and a combo of their cartos and x2 clearos. I have several juices from different vendors. The batteries, cartos, and clearos are all Smokeless Image. They are a good company right?m Also upping the nicotine is not something I am interested in. I am trying to get off of it altogether. When I smoked it was about 5-10 cigarettes per day. Now I am down to 1-5. Smoking more now because it doesnt hurt my mouth at all, doesnt helpit either though. :)
