The difference this device makes is absurd. I just got my first provari (as some of you have read) and I'm genuinely shocked. The same tanks with the same liquid I use on my ego or mvp2 are so much better on the provari. It makes no sense to me, but it's true, and it's not like I don't know how to use my MVP either. I've got that thing tweaked down to a science on my sweet spots. The MVP is now merely a back up with a decent battery life collecting dust. Maybe it's just the excitement, or maybe it's the kook-aid I was offered entering into this group but I'm beyond hooked.

As I typed this I'm dripping with org cotton for a wick. Those of you who read this who are thinking of trying cotton in a rda my thoughts are it's got great flavor and much easier to use BUT when you get a "dry hit"... Holy crap it's a new level of harsh!!! If I didn't just get my provari and basking in its glory that moment of almost burnt cotton would have ruined my vaping experience for the day!

I have found a new love for my carto tanks since I got mine. I never liked them on my Vamo cause they always wobbled....rock solid on the Provari. Using my Vamo for just my Ego threaded stuff now but lately its all about carto tanks.

To me Provari was made for carto tanks...and if you try I recommend IBtanked...they are the best I have tried by far.

I completely agree!! When I first started vaping I used carto tanks. I did use Protanks for a while just because I thought they were easy to use and fill on the go, however I am back to carto tanks again since I bought the ProVari. IBTanked are my absolute favorites!! They are very well made and they work amazingly well!! I bought several 22mm tanks and the ProVari ring from IBTanked.
I think that IBTanked tanks and ProVari are a perfect match!!

These really are great. Wait until you want to get a backup and struggle to find options, as once you like the provari and its dependability, there really isn't anything out there that can compare if you want to stay with the form factor.

I am struggling to figure out what to get as a backup to my provari, and I really can't seem to get my mind set on one of those DNA devices, as they all seem to have issues. May have to become a multiprovari family!

I can relate to lots of this. Just started experimenting with re-wicking with cotton today and spent ages trying to get the wick as near a match size wise to the silica it was replacing. Mixed results.

But being a new owner of a Provari too (literally acquired a few hours ago), I believe we have made the right choice in investing in one of these wonderful devices. The thing screams quality, and then you vape on it and……wow.

Fig newton: I'm using an octopus. I don't particularly like it but it'll do till I buy my next upgrade. Hopefully an ebaron.

Impulso: deciding my next mod purchase will be rough. I kinda want a mini and I kinda want a reo. I'm very confidant and happy with my provari but I'll say the reo seems the be in second place as far as happy owners.

Ohm-y-gosh: cotton is finicky to get the correct amount. To little and you get poor vapor, to much and the wick seems to choke giving dry hits more so. My :2c: there is don't twist the cotton a lot to feed it into the coil. If you have to wrench down on the cotton to get it through then you've got to much cotton.

Finally I've heard some good stuff about ibtanked. It's on my ever going list.

All you new ProVari owners..... Where's your pics????

Sent from a BIG phone.....Galaxy Note 3

Sorry but my iPad 1 won't put a pic on ECF. But when I get time I'll hop on my PC and show and tell.

I agree OP, I would not have believed the difference until I got mine, day 2 now and it's a vast improvement.

Congrats.... Just got mine less than a week ago and haven't touched anything else since!!!

Same here. Right now I'm thinking I want to give it another week or so to adjust, keep my MVP as my back up and get rid of my other batteries. I also need to get a couple more of the provari batteries. I wanted 4, decided on 3 and somehow ordered 2. That has to be resolved soon.
