hate to post this as a new topic and it might be a silly question but i gotta ask...i just got a v8 kit in the mail and am waiting for the batts to charge, does anyone know if they come completely drained or not? they're 18350's btw - says it takes 5 hours to charge fully and my ego charger broke the other day so i'm down to 1 little micro ego that i've been using all day while i wait for these batts to charge...i'm guessing they are fully drained but just thought i'd check...i can hope right?

Took an hour :) Thing hits like an epileptic circus elephant, a bonafide possessed wild BEAST. Ohm meter on the v8+ rubberized they included for free works about as well as the engrish sentences in the instruction manual but that's cool...everything's 2.2 ohms? Really? lol. When I press "big button press to inhale" it displays a range from 7.2 to 8.8 whatever that means...I like the glitchiness...adds to the charm.

An epileptic circus elephant? Charging can take a long time - and depends on what charger you use. An hour for an 18350 sounds good. These batteries shouldn't be fully discharged - definitely not below 2.5 v. Most regulated mods cut off at 3.2-3.4 volts. I wouldn't go below 3v, and prefer not to go below 3.2v.

ya it shows 7.4 right now for both batts. i cant get enough of the instruction manual..."the v8 does not need a tissue, just counterclockwise take off drop tips and clockwise the drop tips, the v8 makes refilling easier." lol
