I'm a having a little issue with the Ovale V8 that I just got. I used the 900 mAh 18350 batteries that came with the kit. After vaping it for an hour or so it showed "Lo" on the little digital screen for a brief moment. And that means that the battery's already running low. So I charged the batteries that night and put it on again after it was fully charged. Vaped on it the next day for like an hour and it showed me the "Lo" again. So, I bought a new pair (1200 mAh) thinking that the batteries (that came with the kit) were bad. After the new batteries were charged I vaped on it and after an hour it showed the "Lo" thing again. Can the Ovale be faulty? Any input will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I think your problem is with the V8. My batteries (aW IMR 18350) last over a day but I use it on and off with a lavatube. I think it would last at least 10 hours of straight use.

I see. The vendor also told me that it lasted her a day of heavy vaping. Though she was only vaping at 3 volts with a 2 ohm dct.

I really would like to use my V8 that long.

Thanks.

General rule of thumb is 100mah = 1 hour of vaping.

This is a general rule. Your mileage will vary depending on how much vape. But 900 mah lasting an hour? Yea, something is wrong. Im sure you could actually do that if you were chain vaping but by then you might be in a nicotine coma so it might not even be possible.

I get about 5-6 hours out of mine at 6V. If I were you, contact the vendor and ask for an exchange. It sounds like the mod itself is faulty.

5-6 hours of heavy vaping before you get the "Lo" sign? And to think you're vaping at 6 volts. Thank you for this info.

I'll be sending it over to the vendor on Monday. I hope they do something about it real quick.

Thanks

I see. So the batteries should last at about 9 hours tops. I do chain vape but as you said I would be in a nicotine coma if I was vaping that much. And I've also tried using 1200 mAh batteries and it just lasted like an hour or so.

Thanks for the info.
