After smoking for the last 20 years consistently , a pack a day or more for at least 15 of those 20 years. I was really feeling the pain in the mornings and throughout the day with shortness of breath and well ya know all the particular nasties so I will spare you. Decided to get my first mod maybe 5 weeks ago? In the first week I broke down and smoked again . After the smoke I felt sick and wondered why the hell I did that. Happy to say since then I've not touched a cig and wow do I feel amazing. No more endless coughing and heavy lungs in the morning . No more putrid cig smell , better every day! I just can't believe how effective vaping is for an alternative to smoking. Not only do I not desire a cigarette the very thought makes me feel sick . Hate smelling it outside from others who still smoke and feel bad for all the non smokers who had to put up with my smoke all those years. Any way not to just ramble on here but I'm just blown away with how helpful vaping can be for an ex die hard smoker like me. I thought I would never quit , now I know I will never smoke again.
Over 20 years a smoker , not any more.

Congrats!!! It is pretty amazing isn't it? I never thought I could give up the cigarettes either. Welcome to the forums!
I got the innoken cool fire Iv , replaced the I sub tank within a week for the cloud beast and loved it, ended up buying my wife and I a couple baby beasts shortly after and we love them! Started out on 3 mg nicotine after my first bottle of 12 ? I think punched way too hard lol. JuSt such a life changing discovery for my wife and I both. Only wish we had tried this sooner! What a beautiful thing. All I know is within the short time I've been vaping i just feel amazing. Thanks all for the congrats and thanks to the vaping community at large for keeping up and fighting the good fight . You guys and gals are great.
Sorry replied in the wrong spot, I have an innoken cool fire Iv tc 100. And my new favorite tank the baby beast. Love them both but finding that vaping is more than just vaping it's a whole experience which is awesome, can't wait to get my alien 220 watt to see what my cloud beast I have can do! The innoken has been great for me so far .
@Mike .. w Hello and welcome to the forums!!!!! Congrats on your quitting smoking analogs!!! I was one that needed to dual use for 3 and a half months before switching exclusively to vaping. I smoked for 28 years. It is amazing what these things can do for a person. Any questions, do not hesitate to ask as there are plenty of wonderful people here willing to help out when ever we can. I smoked for 42+ years, more than a PAD, and was the absolute last smoking holdout among all my friends and relatives. It'll be 3 years this coming January since my last smoke, because of vaping. I'm certain I'll never have another cigarette, too!
Starting tomorrow, I'm helping my hairdresser begin on her journey to quit smoking...by vaping instead. I'm going to send her a link to this thread to read about your quitting success and excitement! I'm sure it'll give her more encouragement. She's already excited to start, and I'm excited for her, too.

Awesome I use the same tank. Luckily I quit after a year but the lungs were heavy. Don't be alarmed if you cough up some tar cause I sure did
Congrats. I remember when I finally went a day without thinking about smoking. I had been cig free about 6 weeks and just forgot to think about smokes that day. Geeking out on DIY custard and building coils.
A big CONGRATULATIONS to you Mike .. w, hopefully you continue to see the benny's from quitting the cigs. Now clear a shelf for all the fun toys to come...

Yeah, Innoken makes some good stuff! One of my prize possessions is the Cool Fire II. The one that looks like a hand grenade.
