Over Current Protection on eGo-C Twist 1000 mAH Batty

Hi, anyone knows the upper limit for current on this batty b4 its over current protection would kick in? I want to figure out what is the lowest Ω of atty I can use on a certain voltage. For example, if the atty is 1.7 Ω and I am running it at 4.5 V, then the current will be 2.65 A. Is this too high?

Pushing any eGo batt beyond 2A is not recommended. Many do, but it is not recommended. It's not the batteryb that doesn't like the current draw it is the mossfet.

But then the over current protection will kick in and the unit will not be harmed, correct?

So, are you saying that 2.0A is the max. amp b4 the over current protection kicks in? I have googled this and found answers ranging from 2.2A to 3.0A ... anyone has a definitive answer?
