If it's getting so hot that it will actually burn you, it's likely (and I say this a lot in AGA-T threads) that your connections are loose somewhere. This can cause the current to heat up the deck and in turn, the cap, making the whole thing extremely hot. If it's getting that hot, check your connections -- it's easy to have a loose connection (even when you think you're 'sure') on this rba's positive post. The nuts are a bit of a poor design choice because it can be difficult to properly torque them down enough to make a solid connection.

Source: I've had the hot deck and cap from a loose connection. :D
