I'm no MD, but from what I read, residual vapor is absorbed by the lungs into the blood stream, which eventually makes its way into your pee. There is no risk of clogging your lungs with vapor from your PV.

If there was any kind of harm coming from over-"humidification" of the lungs, steam rooms, saunas and the likes would have been banned long ago.

I think you might be referring to a recent article from Medical News Today studying the short-term effects of vaping, stating that vaping actually affects the airway resistance. The conclusion:
They found that using an e-cigarette caused an instant increase in airway resistance that lasted for 10 minutes in the majority of the participants.

PG and VG arent strictly humidifying or dehumidifying as such, below a certain level of environmental humidity they absorb water and above it they let it go (percentages are 65% and 75% for PG and VG respectively). The humidity in human lungs is around 70-90% depending on the person and environment so most of the time they would be mildly dehumidifying but are incapable of doing so to any dangerous level.

Very good point. That is why PG (and sometimes VG) is used to keep humidity levels balanced in humidors for cigars.

Where exactly? I'd like to read who it is that is so misinformed. ;-)

I just searched for about an hour straight. I'm pretty sure it was on a facebook group that I like. I thought it was popsci or "I ....ing love science" but I searched and couldn't find anything. It was one guy posting multiple times throughout the thread about how "overhumidification" from vaping is bad for you etc. etc. I did some research and couldn't find much so I asked here and now I can't find his comments for the life of me.
