Over my head? Any Phidias users or drippers want to help me out?

I have been coveting a Phidias since I started vaping exclusively 9 wks ago. Just bought a used on via the classifieds and am totally thrilled.

Problem is: I have no idea where to start re: ordering attys appropriate for it. I've actually never "dripped" before so this should be interesting :)

I do know I need 18650 batteries and a charger. But how many batteries would you recommend?

Ugh...did I make a big mistake? I hope not!

Any advice for a newbie to Phidias?

If you bought the wenge Phidias with red inlays that you PMed the seller about in the classifieds
It is an older type of Phidias with a metal needle on top of the bottle that feeds the atomizer
I have two Phids just like it
It uses just about any 18650 battery and the atomizer connection is 510
If you PM me with an email address I will send you a 4 page Word doc of Phidias tips and information
All the information can be found in this ECF thread, but the thread is 3558 pages long

Have Fun With Your New Phid
There is a learning curve involved though

Pete54: this is the one I bought: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-phidias-bobas-gorilla-juice.html#post6997228

I've been using a Kgo, and its helped me get off the stinkies, but I'm so tired of the muted flavors and just wanted to try something new. Wasnt really looking for a complex device and the bottom feeders intrigue me. So I'm just branching out and this one caught my eye. Probably should have just tried dripping on my Kgo first, but what the heck....Phidias are just so sexy lol. I'm calling it a birthday present to myself!

The new Phids are all sealed feed system now
The metal needle has been replaced by clear tubing
Its much easier to use, like the REO box mods
There are also taller Phidias models designed to be used with juice tanks
Ask questions on the Phidias thread, there are lots of pictures too

You should check out the REOs too

The wood ones are especially very nice

Looks like tobarger has steered you in the right direction. I'll just add this. The newer Phidias' feed system is supposed to work much better although I'm not a fan of feeders. If you want something really easy to use that just plain works, consider an Ego Twist paired with a Kanger T2 Cartomizer. They just get the job done with little or no fuss!
