I've heard that I need to keep my carts full (not dripping wet) for good atty life but then I also hear that flooding the atty is bad...where is the happy medium here. Thanks in advance:D

Fill cart, like you say - not dripping wet. Two drops PG on the atomizer when you refill. I don't drip VG on attys directly. It might not matter, but I don't.

You've pretty much nailed it already, and the happy medium is the place you want to find.

Basically, you want to keep your atomizer happy with plenty of juice, but not too much as to flood it.
A good sign that it's flooded is that it gets a little harder to draw on and you get little or no vapor.
Flooding it, however, won't hurt it at all, and you can just blow out the extra juice.

Letting it get too dry, on the other hand, is not good for the atomizer supposedly.
But regardless of whether it bad for the atomizer or not, you still don't want to do it.

You can tell it is too dry when it starts to taste like crap.
A nasty sort of metallic burning taste.

One reason it might get too dry is if you burn through the juice faster than it can wick up more.
That is why people experiment with different kinds of filler materials to use in their cartridges.
And that is why stupid things like the "thermometer method" exist.

Some people use two electronic cigarettes and alternate between them.
The more time you take between drags, the less you will have dry atomizer problems.

And of course, when the cartridge is running low on juice, it needs topping off for this reason.

I haven't ever dripped since I am paranoid that it will hurt it, but I will check out things and see if I can find a video on it since I am not exactly sure 100% what is involved with that process.

Same here...I've heard about "dripping" and get a little confused. I've heard that "flooding" can cause your atty to die, then some people talk about dripping directly onto the atty? Seems conflicting to me but I'm a noob and maybe it has to do with the model you use? Keep me posted if you find out about dripping. Thanks ssgodess.... : )

When I top off I get the juice to to the top of the filler (i use tea bags) then drop a few drops on the atty, It took me a while to find that perfect amount, I often got juice in my mouth back in the day, but now that I have got it it works great!

Blow out your attys often (from the batterie end) will make them last longer as well.

I run a Prodigy with an 801 atomizer and I've found that, with these, blowing out the atty from the cartridge end works better for me. Don't get juice on my lips this way and it seems to work well for clearing those little air passages.

I flood my atty so often (with runny juice mixes) that I'm getting plenty of practice. :)
