I've done that a few times but it never affected my battery.

Did you clean the battery immediately or let it sit? Did the juice get down into the switch as well? Is your battery working at all or completely dead?

Sorry for the questions but I would like to help if I can.

I'm really not sure if I overfilled it or not. I just wondered if that might be the reason its not charging. I have cleaned it(not immediately) but doesn't seem to have helped.

BC is there any chance you simply have it off? Not sure with the kgo's but I know the egos have that 5 click on off, and I can't tell you how many times I have turned it off, then forgot I did.

I did that yesterday was so irritated thinking my phoenix just totally up and died on me. Then realized that battery was off. Duhhh so glad I'm not the only one.

Is the light just not turning green, or have you taken it off the charger and tried to use it. What is it that is making you say it's not charging?

Yeah the light is not turning green after 8-9 hours, tried to use it and the button flashes like it needs to be charged.

How much did you overfill it? Is the battery and auto or a manual. If it is a manual, the only reason it should have gotten hurt would be if you allowed the juice to get to the switch. If its an auto, you can easily get juice into the system and fry it.

It's a manual, only 3 days old. If I overfilled it wasn't much, didn't run all over the place or down to the button.

Yep pretty well ALL chargers that come with starter kits are garbage. Always have a spare charger and never fill the carto up while connected to batt. After filling batt blow out excess juice into a tissue to prevent juice from getting on batt.

Edit
: also a good idea to have a DIGITAL Mutimeter handy. Take s a lot of the guesswork out IMO. Here's one on sale:
