I've been trying a few from local B&M's. Mostly tobacco flavors. Some of the tobaccos are overrated. I got this one called "Havana tobacco", it's supposed to be a cigar, but it tastes more like a Swisher Sweet. Not surprisingly it's a 50/50 PG/VG mix, and I think that is the culprit. It seems like a lot of places are just mixing in the flavorings into a standard base regardless of the flavor profile of the base liquids and selling them at $8 for 10mL.
I tried some Dekang "Cubano", and it's much better, and less than half the price.
I'm waiting on an order of flavoring ingredients and I'm going to try experimenting with some FA Bitter Wizard and the Havana tobacco and see if that doesn't tame down the VG's sweetness. As it is, all the DIY juices I have made have been better than tobacco juices I have bought.
