+1 and well said irwink

New folks (and I'm still pretty new myself), this is a replacement for an addiction that lasted you how long? and cost you how much? (don't limit that figure to just dollars either)

There is truly great monetary savings to be gained by vaping, BUT it is more likely that those savings will not be immediate, but please don't forget the cost of any cigarettes you did not smoke. The really important savings, yeah - you!, well those started adding up the minute you picked up that PV instead of a coffin nail...and they increase each time you make that small decision. Get that part right first, at any cost, then your monetary return will surely come.

Best of luck on your journey

I am getting both my husband I going with Vaping at the same time. Yep I have dropped more than I expected at first..There where the local kits we picked up, yes expensive, no not as promised. Drop those then back to cigs for awhile until I sorted out enough information to order us some really good mods. Oops did not order enough batts etc, Then the juice and the cart mods. After 4 months we are settling in. I plan on getting us a coule of box mods to drag around on a daily basis, after that we just need attys juice for the next few months so I am starting to see when my monetary break even point will hit. In the meantime I am losing weight because I can breath better so I exercise the dogs more, also eating less , I get tons of good flavors with my vaping, reduced binge eating( get a craving for something sweet, change the juice you are smoking for awhile). All in all I think I am ahead of the game

Are any of you new people horribly overwhelmed at times? Here I am puffing away contentedly on my V4life automatic and USB passthrough. Yet I'm thinking..hmm, this is costing me more than cigarettes, I'm blasting through like 6 carts a day even with refills.

Maybe I should get a manual. Maybe I should try non-cartomizers. Well, the atomizers look expensive. Maybe a different carto. Turbos? And what flavor? What will have tons of vapor.

Ooh, maybe a new type. Volcano? Screwdriver?

Wait..hmm, what's this atomic cinnicide I keep hearing about? Ack, can't find it anywhere. Ahh, wait, what's this, I'm burning the stuff inside the cart? I wonder what it's made out of...

I browse these forums for answers and find only more questions, grasshopper. Hmm.

I was dreaming last night that I built this ridiculous, huge thing that looks nothing like an analogue, and that let me vape huge clouds of deliciousness that gave me a massive buzz.

Something must be wrong with me. Still haven't smoked though. :p

LOL the dream. I have had some of those type ecig dreams too..
All you need to do is refill and you will be fine instead of buying prefilled carts. It is way too expensive to do that IMO.

It akes some time to find what all works for you, It really is much less expensive than cigs any day.. and think of your health too..

I started with a little 510 and quickly found It wasnt going to cut it for me. I went to my first mod within a months time.

I love MY GLVs and My Chucks and BB's..

I mix my own juice mostly and it cots me pennies. Attys and Cartos are the only thing that costs really. Juice can be mixed for pennies..

You will find your niche and it will all be worth all the testing that we all go through to find what works best for us..
