The pooch has been quite an investment too, but she has paid me back threefold on a daily basis

I hear that a lot. Both daughters have TJs, my wife has a JK and I have my LJ. when everybody's home there are 4 Wranglers in the driveway.

This is one of my favorite good things. Its a 4x5 Zone 6 field camera.

That is just beautiful and I agree with Tree that should be displayed. It also reminds me that my other quality thing is a Canon 5D and some L series lens, you can really see the difference great glass makes.

I love shopping for a deal, but I try to buy things that will last. I'll spend for quality, but not always top dollar.

All my vaping is on reos now.
My Jeep is idle, but I built with the best I could.
Just switched all my cookware to stainless cuisinart (copper lined or something).
I haven't bought them yet, but I am researching forged kitchen knives.
I love my vizio TVs, I have a great picture without the highest level brand but they work great for me.
My bike is certainly cheap, but great quality and semi rare. ZRX1100
My couch and loveseat were purchased in 1998. I paid a ton for them built to last. I could have replaced them thre times had I bought regular level stuff. Not sure which choice is better there. They still look good, and have many years left in them. I do need to freshen the leather when I find the right treatment...they are somewhere between leather and suede feeling.
My big ... stainless "professional" grill that is far nicer than I should have
DENIM-guys, pay attention. I have suits I rarely wear that cost far too much. Last year I realized cheap denim is a waste. I still have work jeans, but for casual I have spent a lot more per pair and LOVE the fit and look of them. After a year, they look brand new still. I'm not talking fix the car jeans, but wear to the office jeans. Comparing to dress clothes, I get lots more for my money out of jeans.

Best knives I have found are the Wusthoff Classic, I got mine individually instead of the block set as there is some sticker shock with them and I think individual knives are a better quality. I started with the 8" Chefs knife, then added the paring as those are the most used knives for me, both knives are amazing quality and VERY well balanced. I have wasted way to much money trying trendy knives only to be let down.....

I am a "hobbyist" guitar player and have played for over 35 years. I learned long ago that a "Cheap" guitar will never give me the satisfaction, tone, feel and playability of a "Good" guitar. My collection appears out of hand to some, but each guitar is quality made (except for the wall hangers which are just cool to look at) and each has a certain tone that works for a variety of different music styles that I like to play. The acoustic guitars include a 1993 built Taylor 612C (my first good guitar), a 1964 Gibson LG1 and a 2005 Gibson Advanced Jumbo. My gigging electric guitars include a 2000 Gibson Smartwood Exotic, an early 80's ESP Japanese style Strat and my favorite a 2007 Made in Japan Epiphone Elitist copy of the 1963 Gibson ES335 dot. Each of these are relatively expensive but extremely well built instrument.

That is why after only 6 months of Vaping, I jumped on the Provari wagon. I wanted a well built mod that performs it's function flawlessly and feels as good as it looks. Just like my guitars, quality is easy to spot as soon as it gets used for the purpose it was made for.

I don't need a stable of mods for my vaping pleasure because I only vape one way (all day!) I do however play many styles of music and I have a guitar for each type!

Damn... If he plays Taylor guitars, he must be a stand up guy! I have never seen an REO in person, but have heard many good things about them. I do agree that in photo's they look like works of art!

I cant wait till i get the old genesis running with pumpkin pie (or peaches and cream?) and just kick back with a good movie, the woman and a great vape

Lovely sofa. I can appreciate fine furniture myself. Years ago, I worked for an upscale furniture store. Perks of employment: an entire house full of the best hand made furniture money can buy for 1/3 of retail price. I think you win with your $200 Italian leather sofa. Gorgeous!

Rob is redeyedancer. He is the maker of the Reos. Since he is getting the new Taylor I'm sure he wouldn't mind a PM from you. I think he may own more Taylors but I can't swear to that.

I'm not so into fancy bling for others eyes but I do like quality when it comes to things I like for myself. my reo is my #1 vape machine. yeah I have others, some much more expensive too but so far the reo sets the bar that all others hope to get even close to.

I def like top of the line tools, been buying snap-on for years and that's one place I don't usually skimp is on tools.

about the only other thing I really like to be great is my cars because I love cars in general and I spend a lot of time in it and I drive hard so I need a machine that can keep up but I also need to have a lot of space inside so minivans have been my vehicle of choice as a daily driver mainly, but most minivans just suck when it comes to being a powerful well handling machine, until I found my current minivan which is my mercedes R500... yeah it's a pretty much a minivan but it's an all out beast. 5.0l v8 making well over 300hp with a rwd based awd, loaded with all the bells and whistles..

lowered a bit and stiffened up suspension with some bigger fatter amg wide wheels and good rubber so it handles like no minivan ever should. about the only gripe I had with it was stopping power, damn thing didn't stop well at all, guess it wasn't built to be driven like it's stolen so I had to upgrade the brakes with another high end "best of" mod which brings me to the one thing that I have that is really best of the best, and that's the brembo gt80 8 piston monoblocks with 390mm discs front and gt40 4 piston brembo rears. one of the best braking systems money can buy. now my minivan stops on a dime, actually it stops before the dime even

now just so I don't come off as some rich dude bragging, trust me that's not the case. got the R500 used and even the brembo caliper setup used too, from an S55 that I had to make custom brackets and caliper mounts for... so for much less than the cost of an average inexpensive new minivan I got a minivan to end all minivans. it's a BEAST I tell yea, and there so underappreciated by the masses that you can pick one up CHEAP cheap. one of the best values out there as far as used mercedes trucks go, it's like a big fat s class wagon I wouldn't trade it far anything, one of the best vehicles I've ever owned

I've enjoyed my Henckel more than my Wusthof's, but honestly reach for my cheap Dexter Russell when I have some serious chopping to do. And a Victorinox for deboning & filleting.

ha, yeah, nyc is tough. we have everything from the guy who goes 30 in the left lane while gabbing on there phone and being a rolling road block to the kamakazi types who will cut you off and throw you into the guardrail if you are in there way, not to mention taxi cabs from hell so it's either drive aggressive or get stomped on. I open her up daily and sometimes drive like a real a hole so a machine that can handle maneuver and stop great is a nice thing to have here, it riding like a cloud as it whisks around here and there is also nice driving here is not for the timid that's for sure

You have several grades of the Henckles...the ones that are mass produced in china and then the Pros that are produced in Germany....The Wusthoffs Classics Wusthof Classic Chef's Knife, 8-inch | cutleryandmore.com I got are made in Germany and it shows! I did have some China Henckles several years ago and they did not hold an edge well and also got spoty with rust even with hand washing......which you should never put a good knife in the dishwasher!
