Hello again and welcome back to today's review of the Velocity Limited Edition 100w 2 in 1 kit from OXVA. The LIMITED EDITION is the 2nd version of the original but with different color choices. The Velocity has been on my radar for some time and when the Limited Edition version was introduced I had to review it. What really makes the Velocity stand out from other devices is it's a 2 in 1 device that has a 5ml Pod but also has a 510 adapter so you can use any atomizer on it with a 510 connection, also being a single 21700/20700/18650 device gives the user greater wattage range plus it has 3 power modes and 6 display screen color options to choose from. Before my review of the Velocity Limited Edition lets start with checking out the great features bundled inside and out.

    INCLUDED 510 ADAPTER

    FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Compact and nicely package with the device and preinstalled pod in there own pre-cut spot with the 0.15Ω mesh coil preinstalled in the pod, 2nd 0.3Ω mesh coil and type-c charge cord are in a little black box next to the device with the 510 adapter above. The 18650 tube adapter is shipped with it inside the device, it is of a rubber texture which I don't remember ever seeing before. Underneath all of the components mentioned above lays the user manual.

I was sent the Emerald color that consist of a mosaic of Green diamond like shapes in different shades of Green, some solid colored and some mixed shades of Green and Black. ( very attractive )

After removing the 18650 battery adapter from inside the device because I wanted to start testing with a 21700 battery I wanted to see how the 510 adapter looked compared to the 5ml pod and found them to be equal in size and shape, the preinstalled 0.15Ω mesh coil is shipped with a protective sticker on covering the coil contact, this sticker must be removed before using.

Both the pod and 510 adapter use magnets to attach to the device but the 510 adapter also has a tab on each end that clicks into place, and I must say very secure a tight. To remove the 510 adapter just screw on any atomizer with a 510 pin and tilt it to one side ( GREAT FORCE IS NEEDED IT'S THAT SECURE ). The original Velocity came with a 510 tool that did the same thing but I think that they realized that just tilting the attached atomizer worked just as well of which it does.

The Velocity pod uses fully adjustable airflow by way of a screw on airflow control cap that screws on the bottom of the coil, when changing coils DO NOT THROW THE AIRFLOW CONTROL CAP AWAY because it's reusable and only one is supplied in the kit. By the way the 510 drip tip is replaceable.

The airflow control cap is screwed on to the coil first and then the coil is installed, it is small and I dropped it a few times when testing the two coils, it can be easily lost so install the airflow control cap over a table so it's not lost if dropped which you will do a couple times.

The coils are a simple push and pull type but the airflow control cap has flat spots that need to be aligned with two alignment tabs on the pod. Once flat spots are aligned push the coil in until fully seated in place, the airflow slots line up to the Velocity airflow holes on each side.

4 Magnets on the pod are connected to 4 magnets inside the device, these are some of the strongest magnets I've come across, no worry's about the pod coming off unintentionally. The 3 airflow holes on each side of the Velocity are of good size so all you big air lovers will be happy.

There is top fill on the pod, on one side is a rubber plug attached having the OXVA name and a arrow pointing to the opening spot with two attachment points, I much prefer a single attachment point so I can rotate the plug out of the way when filling, also because there are two attachment points the plug can only be lifted just so far.

Another small con is that when using 100ml bottles the drip tip is in the way of getting the bottle tip fully inside the fill port, it can be done but I just remove the drip tip when filling with a 100ml bottle.

Being versatile in what type of battery it can use ( 18650-20700- 21700 ) is another big feature of the Velocity, batteries are loaded into the device from the bottom via a battery door we have all seen before. Polarity markings are both inside the battery tube with a Red+ symbol for positive and a - symbol for negative on the hinged battery door that has 5 venting holes on it.

The one very big feature on the Velocity is it's ability to use the pod or it's 510 adapter which opens the door to use any atomizer that has a 510 pin. You can use up to a 26mm atomizer on the 510adapter without any type of overhang. The connection of the 510 adapter is very secure without any wiggle of any kind because of the tabs connecting in the deep indents inside the device. There is no unnatural look once the 510 adapter is connected, it actually blends in to look like it's the mod.

There is one statement OXVA makes that isn't correct, they claim the Velocity is the smallest 21700 mod which isn't true . I have a smaller 21700 mod that I use in my personal rotation of devices and the Tank that is in my pictures on top of the 510 adapter is the Tank that came with said device. This is the two of them pictured together and you can see the Velocity LE is a larger mod.

    20221008_102407.jpg

I like the Velocity LE for so many reasons an having a menu system that is easy to navigate is one of them, to enter the menu a simple 3 quick presses of the power/fire button opens the menu giving you all 3 power modes ( Smart- Power - Volts ) and the color options of Blue, Orange, Green, Red, Purple and White. Turning the device on/off is done with 5 quick presses of the power/fire button.

To lock/unlock the adjustment buttons press and hold both adjustment buttons simultaneously, To clear the puff counter press and hold the power/fire button and down button simultaneously, there is even a shortcut to get to the color selections of the display screen by pressing and holding the power/fire button and up button simultaneously.

The layout of information on the display screen is very good and the colors are bright and vibrant, the menu legend is below. I will leave so pictures of the menu and display screen colors below for you to see as well.

    FINAL IMPRESSIONS

I have to say that the Velocity LE has really impressed me in so many ways, first having buck boost on chipset is a very big plus because it vapes the same on a fully charged battery as it does on the last vape when the battery is depleted of power.

It's not a lightweight but it's not heavy either, I feel it is built solid and strong and although the type of battery door used on it it passed the slide and bang test on my desk without opening. There is no rattle of buttons or rattles from inside the mod when shaken.

I was sent the Emerald color and really like the look of it very much, my pictures don't show the depth of color as well as I'd like.

I am also not a fan of having a airflow control inside and on a coil but when you think about it once it's set to your liking why or how many times will you be changing it, plus being inside on the coil it can never accidentally come off it's setting so there's a plus also.

I have had to adjust my hand differently because sometimes fingers or my thumb will block the airflow slots but it's no problem when using the 510 adapter because the atomizer has it's own airflow, and speaking of the 510 adapter I absolutely love it. It sits very solid installed on the Velocity with no rocking or any wiggle.

Flavor that is produced from the coils supplied in the kit is great, way above average and vapor production is there as well, I have not had any leaking or seepage but some condensation does form inside but it's very little.

I recommend the Velocity Limited Edition kit 100% and consider it a solid winning kit. I would like to thank Joyi and Sourcemore for sending the Velocity Limited Edition Kit for the purpose of my review and I hope I answered all your questions about the Velocity Limited Edition Kit.

    THANK YOU

Fantastic thorough review Bob! I kept away from other reviews while I was doing mine, so it's good to see you felt the same way about this kit.
and I must say very secure a tight. To remove the 510 adapter just screw on any atomizer with a 510 pin and tilt it to one side ( GREAT FORCE IS NEEDED IT'S THAT SECURE )
I feel so much better, if you couldn't undo the adaptor without the tank - I had no chancel
