Hello All,

I'm relatively new to the PV world and have been experimenting with a Legacy Mini, and I'm looking to upgrade to a P+ 16 with an rba, but I can't decide on which I'd prefer, the Hellfire Mini or the V2 Line. I'm not too concerned with the performance difference between the two cause I've heard good things about both, it's more of an aesthetic decision. I was hoping someone might have a few High Res pictures of a P+ 16 with a V2 Line on it. I've seen Vaptamist's P+ 16 w/Hellfire Mini and love that, but wanted to see a close up of the V2 on there. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Firstly welcome to the ECF. Secondly, have you encountered any information that informs you about how hard both of those rba's are to come by? I don't mean to be a negative nelly I just wanted to give you the heads up in case you were getting your hopes up about getting the Hellfire Mini. You'll almost have to be willing to give up your first born to get a Hellfire, Mini or Mega. The Line V2 is a bit more attainable, but still not the easiest rba to get. There are many great options out there for more easily attainable RBA's that function great. Hope that was at least a little bit helpful, even though I didn't have any Hi-res pics to share. :p

Oh yes, I've heard the horror stories about the waiting list. As eager as I am to have one, I'm thinking long term. Just trying to piece together my perfect PV. I actually purchased a DID Clone today. I'm sick of messing with carto's and I love the tinkering aspect of the RBA. I plan to do some surgery on the DID this evening and see how things go. I appreciate the feedback. Thanks.

hellfire too hard too get its so nice in

Yes it is, but worth it in the end I think.

On a side note, I tinkered with the DID last night. Made an awesome wick on the first shot with 400 Mesh and used 32 gauge Kanthal for the coil, and it was working well for a bit, but the coil was getting WAY too hot after prolonged use. I made several different attempts to adjust the resistance using more coils, gradually increasing the number from 4 to around 10 wraps, but the length of wire between the Positive post and the wick would start to glow red after a few hits. I think I need to move up to the 36 gauge Kanthal and see how that goes.

By the way, my current rig is a Legacy Mini running an AW IMR 18350, no kick. Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Thanks.
