I suggested one of my girlfriends eat some peanut butter daily, as she was suffering from a bout of anemia and she told me she has never tried it. After I got over the shock, I told her to buy a jar and some jelly and make a sandwich. She bought some the next day and said she didn't like it much, as it tasted just like butter to her. What are the cows eating in the Czech Republic???

I never knew that helped anemia! I know about Black Strap Molasses, but not PBJ. I've learned something new, Mr. Gmu!

Just for the record, the P3 is the same diameter as the v2.5. 22.8mm. Not sure why people (not you, but it was beat to death in a couple other places) have been making such a fuss over it.

Honestly, for the way I vape, the top cap is really the only thing I do like about it.

So the 2.5 is larger in diameter than the 2? I've learned something ELSE new, Mr.... dammit, Ozzy - your name doesn't rhyme with "new".

I have put the parts from the P3 on my 2.5 they all fit together.
I put the P3 extenders on my dragon.
I have put the end cap and rounded extention from the 2.5 on my P3.
They all fit each other.

I don't know what the diameter is on the v2's to be honest. 22.8mm for both the P3 & v2.5 was what was said by Provape. I've had 4 v2.5's & they all measured differently with a calibrated digital caliper. A friend with high-end test equipment measured his (1 or 2 of them, I forget) & he found the same thing. IIRC the v2.5's ranged from 22.4mm to 22.9mm.

But really, we're talking about differences of less than half a millimeter that affect nothing but aesthetics. It makes me wonder if someone who's nit picking over that is worried about that level of minute detail anywhere else in their lives.

I thought the 2 was 22mm, and I'm not saying that's correct. It's just what I thought. Is that incorrect?

I don't own any 2.5's, and I'm really just wondering whether there's any difference.

@DPlongo22
I dont own a V2 Provari
But I would think if the regular bottom caps or the extensions they sell on provapes site fit on the V2.
It should be the same.
Research at the closest vape store that sells provari?

Thanks, but I'd be misrepresenting my interest/concern if I implied that I'd do that. "Curiosity" might even be too strong of a word to use here.

I think it's an American thing. I was in the UK and made PB&J on toast at the crafty table and drew a crowd. No j/k. I also drew one when I ate pretzel goldfish on a train.

I just want that top cap (actually a similar one, but that one will do) on my v2.5's. Highly doubt I'll ever get a P3 though. Other than that top cap it has nothing to offer me. Now if they release the ProVoop edition with joystick button & PacMan... I may have to reconsider. ;)

I wish they would offer the new top cap on a v2.5 send in deal ... do you hear me Provape?

we need that new threading on our 2.5s ... you do want us to use those new toppers coming out don't you

Maybe redesign a new v2.5 with the new cap

Please do this ... and I promise I'll never ask for anything else ;)

I can't get past Todd's lack of a proper manicure and no subtitles...

Manicure was the first thing that came to my mind. I don't have trouble understanding him (I speak UK), but this is most boring review I have ever watched of his. I keep pausing it and going on to something else for awhile to wake up.

I think rebuilding PT coils might be more exciting.

Just tried a P3 in a local shop. Glad I had a thought to check Provape's site again for a dealer in Cincinnati. Like magic one had appeared since last time I had checked.

I was impressed with it. The menu seemed a little "fiddley" but I think that would pass quickly. It was as solidly built as my 2.5's with fit and finish perfect as far as I could tell.

It's versatility impressed me the most.. I drip ( at 1.2, 1.3 ohms ; 14, 15 watts), use a Russian and a Kaufun clone and still like carto tanks. The P3 was easy to set up for all of these as well as the dealers Nautilus. It more than covers everything I'll do vaping wise.

So I guess I'm now officially in line (and waiting impatiently) for the actual release so long as the price isn't too whacked out. If the dealer had any info regarding pricing or release date he wasn't letting on that he did. He did say that Provape wanted all the beta testers comments back by September 3rd.

I'm part of the way through Todd's review and perhaps he will go back to it, but I don't understand the top cap. Three parts? Is there eGo threading hiding in there? Base, screw on middle thingy (for what?), and then a ring (AFC?); i haz a confused.

Don't think it's eGo threading...possibly some sort of new threading to turn it into a hybrid. There's talk about a new connection, doing away with the eGo/510...a new frontier ;)

In the manual it shows a Ego adapter and trim ring, and the beta does not come with it. Have NO clue if this will come with production model's or will be a extra. What you are seeing in the pic's (what comes on the beta) is what the manual call's the 510 adapter and trim ring. The center ring comes out and from what I have been reading there will be future devices to screw in there according to there thread pattern (rta,rda,etc...). The center ring has the 510 threads inside it. The outer ring (trim ring) screws down on that, The one thing I like about the trim ring is when I screw on my KF there is still a very slight gap, and I can turn the outside ring up. Within no more than 1/2 a turn it is flush with bottom of the KF and gives support to the wimpy 510 connections we are all used to. I think this will give more than enough support to our devices and there 510 in case of a accidental knock over.

Hmmm...k. I think I would have to have one in my hands to understand it, but I don't see that happening. The are no ProVape resellers in town and it's not on my shopping list.
