I'm not terribly familiar with Provaris and am wondering if there any functional differences between the P3 Beta units and production units. My dad has decided to quit smoking and I just gave him one of my REOs. I also found what I think may be a good deal locally on a new P3 Beta. I'd like to give him a couple of options. Is $150 a reasonable deal for a new P3 Beta?

Provape redesigned the end cap and spring is the only physical change, other than cosmetic. You also could ship it in and get the latest software installed. That would up your amp limit a bit and fix any bugs that may or may not occur with your device. For the price mentioned, I think it's a pretty good deal.
Thanks! I think I'll pick it up for him. If he doesn't jive with it I probably wouldn't lose much on resale, I guess.
