Package items that came with my woodvile...please help explain

Hello Reonauts!

Words cannot express how much I am enjoying my woodvile (purple heart/bocote), recieved it last week and cannot put it down since!

I was wondering what a few of the items used for that came along with my beloved mod package, can someone please explain what these items are for:

1. small black tar-like substance in tiny zip lock bag
2. small bottle of wax
3. tiny plastic tube

Hi,

ad 1: That is Noalox, it can be applied to metal parts to make better contact, just use a very small amount if needed, I actually never needed it, as I never had any issue firing.
ad 2: to polish your Woodvile;
ad 3: if you use a very thin juice, this little tube can be inserted in the feeding hose, so the amount of juice will be reduced

The black goo is noalox, and you probably won't need it for the Woodvil, but if you ever feel like you're not firing really well, put a tiny bit on the battery connection.

The other goo is Howards Feed & Wax, for maintaining your wood finish.

I read in a post that I can use Murphy's Soap , I believe, to clean the wood. Is this right?

any other suggestions on cleaning and maintenance (inside and out) of a woodvile? My woodvile has made me so happy... I want to make sure she is too, hehe.

Murphys Oil Soap is great for cleaning wood. You shouldn't need it often. To use it, wet a small sponge and squeeze it dry, put a little MOS on the sponge, clean, rinse the sponge, squeeze it dry, and wipe off any soap. Then condition.

Does the grand come with a tube for thinner juice? Because when I bought mine and never saw that and I only use 100% pg juice.

They are super clear and very small and very easy to miss...it very well could have fallen out when you pulled the other items out of the baggie. You can PM Rob and see if has some available yet.

I had the same little tube that came with my Mini so I was expecting to find it but negative. It's okay though, my grand is working perfect straight out of the package.
