I just re-read your OP. Since you are living at home, I can only deduce that either your parents are unaware of the fact that you are a former smoker who now vapes, or are unhappy that you are vaping, and unable or unwilling to help you.

A new charger will be relatively inexpensive. I ordered a couple of extra chargers for my daughter and myself online, and, if I recall correctly, they were under $5 each. I don't know what your local shop will charge for them. Plain EGO or Evod batteries, no frills, are usually pretty reasonably priced, even if you have to go with a basic 650 mah battery or two to tide you over until you get some cash flow going. These will make great backups once you can replace your beloved.

Are you in college? Do you get financial aid? Depending on what you qualify for, you may have some funds coming in soon from any overage in your financial aid, if you are still enrolled. These overage funds are supposed to be used to help with your living expenses. Make sure to give your parents something reasonable toward your housing, utilities, and food, or whatever amount you have set with them. You may want to look into getting a part-time job that will allow you to work around your classes, and give you a relatively steady source of your own income. My daughter graduated with her Doctorate in Audiology two years ago. Throughout her college career, except for the last two years when she was working, under supervision, at various facilities to get some practice working with real patients and could not schedule regular part-time job hours, she worked part-time in addition to going to school. We managed to get by, and take care of my grandson, who has autism, between overages in financial aid, her part-time jobs, and my retirement income.

Good luck to you. I hope you can find a viable solution to your problem.

Forgive me if I wasn't paying attention and the question I am about has already been asked. Is the Mystery battery have a mini or micro usb charge port at the bottom? I didnt notice a bottom view picture. If it does just plug it in from there. Pass through batteries have their own charging circuit and cant be charged through the ego connector. Hope this helps.
