Might take a couple days but they will get back to you.:)

I called usps and let them know, they opened a missing package ticket or whatever, and said they would get back to me within 24 hours.....haven't heard from them yet either. I am going to be pretty ...... if I have to reorder this stuff.

my company has a part in the UPS data centers than run all of their tracking. Their facility in Atlanta runs the entire globe's tracking system. They spend literally a billion dollars on IT every year and it shows. USPS just doesnt have that kind of dough.

Agreed, I live outside of the US and USPS takes FOREVER to come, I'm currently trying out Priority Mail Flat rate that supposedly stated as 6-10 business days and am waiting at the moment to see if they make good on their delivery time, it's currently the 7th business day, the last package i bought only stated electronic shipping info received and i received it, my current one has stopped at that point as well.

as mentioned it can take a couple of days and entails a complete search of your local post office so hang in there - you should be called by the local postmaster/admin.

Stupid USPS....this is ridiculous. I went online and refiled another complaint, haven't heard anything back from the vendor after him verifying my address, and I still don't have my package. I am so irritated right now it isn't even funny.

Back in '92 I bought a Postal Service Jeep DJ5F from the Van Nuys (CA) USPS Garage. They were selling off 10 of them that had been slowly gathering dust & birdcrap as they introduced replacement vehicles.

When I got it home I was amused to find about a dozen packages in the back - all franked from 6-9 months previously. Yes - of course I took them all back!

Did you wake the guy in the back and tell him his shift was over? Lol

I kinda figured I would just have to wait it out:) It just irritates me that it says delivered when clearly it is not in my hands. Hopefully it will get here before the juices I ordered like 3 days after I ordered the twist lol.

Ashlee, if it does not arrive tomorrow, and either call your local USPS and speak to the carrier (they arrive early in a.m.) OR, I would go in person and ask the postmaster to look up the tracking. Believe it or not, they actually show stuff in their computer system that you can't see online. :)

If you live in an apartment complex, it may have been delivered to the wrong box/apartment.

They will be able to sort it out, but I bet it will just show up tomorrow.

Opening a ticket on an item without waiting 24-48 hours at least seems like a waste of time to me...

It can be Frustrating.

The key is to Never run so low that you have to Depend on a package to arrive on time.

Have Backups.

Fed Ex took over a week to get a package to me so that one isn't any better imo. A trippy tip I bought took 3 weeks to be delivered from OK. The thing went all over the country before it made it to the west coast.

I hope it shows up tomorrow. Only semi-safe way is to get a signature on delivery but that is expensive and you would have to pay extra.

I have plenty to get me through, I am using smoov's and they are ok, but I ordered a twist and that is what is missing:( If I don't get it today, I will be making a trip to the post office.

Sorry your package didnt arrive :( The only things you can do are contact your PO to make them aware and do keep bugging them if it doesnt show up. Talk to your mail carrier, AND check with your neighbors as they may have your package and havent gotten around to redirecting it to you if it was delivered to them in error.

Unfortunately IF it has been delivered to the wrong address or lost, without insurance paid on it, there is nothing else that can be done. The PO is not held responsible for packages that go missing as far as reimbursing the person it was suppose to go to unless insurance was paid AND the lost package's contents fall within the rules for the PO actually reimbursing you for the value. Tracking is just that and its not done in a very efficient way by the PO and honestly means very little. The vendor is certainly not responsible for the poor service by the USPS. It totally sucks but its the way it is. Fortunately, most packages do eventually end up showing up. Hope yours is one of the lucky ones :)

I had a package marked delivered, but when I checked my box got a neighbor's box. So, I delivered their box and asked if they had recieved mine? They had not. Since it was after 5 pm, I waited until the next morning and called my post office. I told them about me getting the neighbors, and mine being MIA.

Thay said they would send someone out to look in the other boxes. Lo and behold, later that day I got it delivered to my door. They did indeed put it in the wrong box, and sent someone to fix the issue. They told me my regular delivery person was on vacation.

So, human error lost it and good follow up service delivered it. I understand mistakes can be made, and was happy they fixed it.
