Page keeps loading

My browser gets hung up trying to load ECIGALTERNATIVE.COM since yesterday at anytime on any forum. But not consistently. I googled them and they have an ecig banner that may be being used on the forums?? It won't load from google either.

Just a minor annoyance to me, but may be a problem to you or others??

Clarification--I'm NOT trying to load this site. When I'm roaming around ECF, with an ECF page loaded already, the green circle just keeps spinning trying to additionally load from that site.

I tried to load it from Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer, no luck with any of them.

Nothing we can do about that. You'd need to contact the administrator of that domain. If people are using a banner from there and it's not loading, you'll get that load symbol on your browser.

If it persists and starts to be detrimental to page loading, let us know. While there's nothing we can do about the site itself, we can put a bug in the Admin's ear that it may need to be blocked to improve page load times.

Yes, I was concerned that it may be overloading the forum. TY.

If I'm the only one having this- do I need to run my Malware or antivirus stuff?

Linked images don't affect the forum itself as far as load issues. The delay comes into play when your browser decides to wait on the image instead of rendering the rest of the page. Most browsers are pretty good about this, but there can still be hiccups sometimes.

Generally, a quick cookie and cache purge fixes issues like this. Although if the site where the banner is hosted is having issues, deleting your cookies and cache won't have really do anything (other than clean up some space on your PC).

As for your anti-virus software, it's generally a good idea to do a full system scan once a week.
