Hope this is the right forum for this.

Whenever I read a thread and swipe to return to the main page, my computer pauses a second then reloads the entire page. It makes browsing here very frustrating.

I've tried to recreating the problem in Chrome but it seems to be a Mavericks/Safari issue.

Anybody else have this problem or know of a fix? I really prefer Safari to Chrome.
Thanks

Sorry, should have clarified. You can use swipe gestures on an Apple trackpad instead of using the "back" button in the browser bar. Clicking on the back button has the same problem. Yes, I could click the link. That would reload the page as well. I should just be able to go "back". It's much faster than having to scroll to the top of the page and click the link, especially without a mouse (laptop). Maybe I'm crazy haha

Nice. Do you by any chance know how to disable the Safari 'feature' that makes tabs unusable, as it keeps refreshing all the tab pages? Maybe it's the same thing?

On Windows, the Safari default settings can drive you nuts, hope it works better on a Mac.

I've not encountered this one. It may be resolved in the same manner. I don't actually use Safari, or any apple product for that matter. I just work on misc devices all day and pick stuff up as necessary.
