I'm here Fran. Just not as much as I used to be. I've been busy lately. I'm getting out to the shop a lot earlier these days.
I hope all is well with you my friend. Thanks for asking about me. I miss being out of this loop so much but I gotta do what I gotta do right now.
I'll pop in here as much as I can. I've been checking in on the "Pro" threads a couple times a day. I'm anxious to get on a waiting list or something for a Buzz Pro. Got the $ set aside for a Pro and an extra charger.
I may be facing a surgery on my right shoulder soon so I'll have more time to chat while I'm recovering but I'll be typing with my left hand and I'm not very ambidextrous so......

Hey all. Just popped in to check on things and found all this love in here. Thanx! Don't waste your prayers on me though. I know someone who needs them more. There was an accident yesterday at easter brunch at my sister in law's house. My sweet mother in law (who is 84 and suffers dementia) tried to go up the deck steps by herself when no one was watching and fell backwards off of the second step and onto a paver stone patio. She managed to turn sideways on the way down and put out her arm to break the fall. The result was a shattered wrist, a broken humerus and an undetermined injury to her elbow.
Good news is that her hips are fine and there was no closed head injury. The bad news is that she really screwed her right arm up bad and she's 84 years old. We are all really worried about her and we're all blaming ourselves for not keeping a closer eye on her.
What I'm dealing with can be fixed. I'm not sure how things are going to go for her. We all love her very much. If you knew her you would too.

Thanks W. R.. Latest word on Rose (MIL) is that they aren't going to operate on the wrist. They don't think it's worth the risk with the anesthetic and possibility of infection considering her age and health. They're just casting it all and hoping for the best. She probably won't have full use of her right hand. Good thing she's left handed I guess.
I feel really crappy about this. All she needs right now is something else to make the rest of her life more difficult. Nothing fair about it.
I'm making a decorative wooden box with an inlaid rose marquetry on it for her for Mother's Day. I hope she can open it to get to the truffles inside. If not I'll open it and feed them to her. I love that woman. She has been very kind to me over the last 32 years.
