Thank you all SO much for your very informative replies. I am glad to hear that there are fellow NT fam. folks with similar issues!

I will try some of the vendors you had mentioned, and will keep vaping roundhouse for a bit here. I still plan to use up my NT juices - and use them sparingly, and I hope that the MaxVG helps things for me!

I will also plan to up my intake of water - but i am notoriously bad on that front. I just have to make it a conscious effort. Oh, and this problem is not likely happening to me purely based on the jooz not being steeped enough, as some of my NT bottles are steeped for two - three months.

Thanks again for all of your advice!

So its all the juice bothering you? I had an allergic reaction to one of the flavorings, but all the other juice is ok for me. Mine was hives on upper chest though.

Yep. It is all the juices. I have only one that is maxVG (just recieved the Roundhouse). I get sores & bumps on the side of my tongue- and gashes in my cheeks that heal very slowly, and the roof of my mouth is scortched. It is not a pleasant experience to say the least. Particularly the tongue things. They hurt like hell when they get really inflamed.

Gosh, I knew some people preferred PG or VG over the other, I never realized it was causing physical issues. That's just unfortunate and I feel for you guys. It's hard enough to get into this hobby and find what you like, let alone with juice issues.
I won't Vape juice that isn't at least 50/50 with VG. I like how thick and smooth it is compares to PG, which makes me cough. Other than that I haven't had any real issues with juice like that.
There was one time my lips broke out in bumps, but if it was caused by vaping it happened because a tank I was vaping spit all over my lips and it took me a minuet to clean them off. Me nor my Dermatoligist were convinced that was the case, but it's possible.

Try drinking a half glass of water after each bathroom trip. Why? Because after your body becomes more accustomed to having the water it needs, you will go a little more frequently, thus drink more. This method results in a gradual change and an easy habit to drink water without forgetting.

    It's a darn pain zero!
It's a great feeling to find it's possible to stop smoking cigarettes, and such a let-down to find there's a problem attached! I can't even stop smoking without getting a glitch! Drat!

Like the others, I'm determined to keep trying to overcome the problem whilst still keeping the process very enjoyable.
NT has certainly made it super-enjoyable! :)

Could it be a delivery device issue? Even when I make a small adjustment like a different driptip or change where the coil position is on an rda, I notice a change in the overall "harshness" of the vapor...just saying... I had/have a top coil clearomizer I started out on that was causing most of the same issues you were having, plus the juice I was using then was high in pg, and since then I've switched to nicoticket... so its hard to say which one was causing the issue...pg or a top coil clearo....id say a little of both...just throwing that out there!

Good luck cherokee...hope you are able to pinpoint the issue and get better...

Ps, I've been using biotene, dry mouth mouthwash, and that has been helping maintain a healthy mouth... I get walmart brand, its halfprice for twice as much ;)

Hi Cherokee -- good to see you again. I thought you disappeared, LOL. Sorry things are so rough right now. You've gotten good advice from the other NT'ers who have PG issues. I hope you can work something out that makes it more comfortable for you to keep vaping. And this is a good place to come to talk about things, as well - a good lift for the spirits. Hope to see you here more. :)

Great advice Penguiness! I will have to try that one. I like reminders - as my memory is not the best!

Hi Nanny!! Great to hear from you!

I certainly did drop off the radar screen there for a bit! A lot going on, and unfortunately not in a good way :(

I will definitely try to remember to PM you sometime! I hope all is well with you!

    Thanks for your advice built4!

I've talked with you before on the Halo subforum, so I really appreciate your advice - and I know exactly the top-coil clearo delivery device you are speaking of --- the Triton.

Yes, I am still using the Triton, but no longer use Halo's juice. I find that it was getting rather hot on me - so I bought some cooler coils (2.7 ohms I believe).

So the Triton was tearing your mouth up as well? That is very interesting to learn. I am somewhat loath to ditch the Triton alltogether, as I already have some money dumped into it (and the 2 G6's that I never use :( ).

Any advice from you would be MUCH appreciated!!!

Good to hear from you man.

Halo taught me all about being PG sensitive. Most of their juice is high PG, they won't tell you that though, it's a "trade secret" You would not be the first person I heard of with the Halo tongue problem also. There is a chance this could be an equipment problem. You could get a Spinner II and Kanger MOW fairly cheaply to test this out.

Thanks for your advice Thunder. I no longer vape any of the Halo juice really. Just NT. I will keep the other equipment in mind!

Ever since switching to RDA's + NT, I could never really go back to that stuff...I had a couple of tanks filled and tried to use/rotate them with Halo juice, but they always got pushed aside... Plus, when I did use them, I noticed how tighter the draw was and the difference in vapor production; it seemed to be a totally different animal is the best way to describe it... and the NT/RDA combo wasn't at all "harsh" like I realized, at that point, that the other stuff was...I did notice I needed to drop my nic level from 12mg to 6mg for future orders though...You could say user error...or juice...but really it just didn't work out for me in the long run...and I never got around to trying NT juice in the triton (sorry, I know I told you I would), because I didn't wanna have a lessened experience with NT than when using the RDA...I still have my triton stuff and it has been collecting dust...Well, two of them have found new homes with friends of mine...so not a complete waste; they got me off stinkies in the beginning, plus they are backups ;)...I just ordered my 2nd reo...much happier with it, RDAs, and NT juice. So take from that what you want...I don't know what to think of it....

Don't listen to me though, you may find something different that works for you with what you have now...but if you don't wanna play games and get headaches (and possibly solve your mouth issue) I suggest a REO...which, when I talked to you last, I didn't have yet, and you mentioned you were thinking about getting one...well they are awesome!

    Hope this helps! :2c:

edit 2: I should also mention, I was getting mouth sores and burt roof before getting NT/RDAs. I have not had any of those issues since (at least to the extent it was before when using the other juice and equipment)... If I had to diagnose your issue...Id say it was delivery device. When I switched and was using RDAs at home, and a Triton on the go with Halo juice, I was getting severe symptoms of dry mouth and soreness within 20 minutes... the Reo/NT solved it... (an MVP and Nautilus was before RDA's/REO and I had many, many issue's with the nautilus' (old style) coils and dry hits, thus expanding my dry mouth symptoms) I can go for much, much longer without getting any dryness/sore mouth...But I'm no scientist... who knows with these things...

You are welcome. Just to clarify, the tongue problems with Halo were in direct relation to the equipment, I know I've seen it pop up more than once on the forums.

Thanks so much for your detailed reply built4! I appreciate it. I am about to leave work and my computer for the day, but I'll plan to PM you to get more of your take on things. I really respect the opinion of people like you and Nanny and Thunder who have used the Triton and NT. The REO sounds amazing, but I am a bit wary to get one for two reasons: (1) Idk how much of a pain in the .... building coils will be - and my patience for such things is very limited; and (2) I already have a decent amount of $ dumped into the Triton - but not too too much, as I only bought the starter kit, 7 tanks, and some coils. Thanks again man.

Halo juices are at a minimum 70PG/30VG and most are 80/20
A couple I tried had to be nearer 90/10 (chocolates). The juice was thin, harsh, and little to no vapor. Sure sign of high PG. A lot of the problems I was having with throat soreness went away when I switched to less PG on the same hardware. The difference was more apparent with fruits.

Your welcome! You did the right thing by asking!

    About your concerns...
    1. It looks like a lot but its really not... The Reo sub-forum has loads of information, videos, people, Q&A, ect.., especially for the RM2 (the best atomizer for the REO overall, especially for a first RDA).
Super-X just made a video of a complete walkthough on how to do it all.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdHcy-R0mMw&feature=youtu.be

    2. I know exactly what you mean...I had bought a lot more than you did even.. But they are great backups if for some reason everything else fails, or a friends wants to get started. :) If you buy a bunch of VG juice and find out you still have the same issue...than you are still stuck with the same equipment anyway...consider it an investment in you future...no more buying coils or having issues with the tank...cleaning is a breeze with a reo too...

Sorry for all the reo-enabling, it must be my anticipation building for the arrival of my second one..lol..

Also, check out the blemished mods on Reo-mods.com...You can probably get one for $40 cheaper and will probably not find anything wrong with it...Expect to spend ~$250 at least, cause you need batteries and a chager, kanthal, ohm meter, and cotton. But thats it!

My tongue is getting actual irritated bumps on the sides of it, and the roof of my mouth is raw. Not fun at all. Admittedly, I have not been drinking a ton of water. But I really do not vape a ton. Maybe 2-3 mls a day max.

Thanks so much for any feedback!

    Cherokee

I'm going through this right now too. I've been vaping for almost two years. Three weeks ago I started getting canker sores. I've never had them before in my life. I have a few places on my tongue that feel raw. If I drink anything acidic it burns something awful.

The absolute weirdest thing is I get what feels like a burn bubble on the roof of my mouth. You know how you get a burn from hot pizza on the roof of your mouth? I get the feeling of the bubble while doing nothing. I'm not eating, drinking, or vaping but it just happens.

The burn bubble I've been getting for awhile but the sores are new. Sometimes it feels like I've been eating a sour candy and let it sit on my tongue too long. Hard to describe!

The only thing different I've done is using cellucotton in my kayfuns. So weird.

    I feel your pain! ;)
I find that a saltwater rinse helps speed up the healing. It hurts but it helps.
