Question/ rant:

Does anyone sell cartos that don't have the contact paper wrapping, but are painted like batteries? The KR808 should be a great e-cig for me. I just can't get past the stickers. I hate them. They don't match the batteries, sometimes it hangs over the end of the carto, I can feel the seam of the sticker when I vape, and have even gotten a paper cut on my lip.

Thanks,
~A

That's a great question angelique. In my fairly extensive search for KR8 cartos, I have not found any painted ones. I have found one without the paper wrapping though, so they're the silver color of the metal that's under it. I will keep an eye on this thread to see if someone else has found painted ones. If they exist, I'm sure they would be a little more expensive, but I can see a market for them. Until then, have you tried a drip tip at the end of the cartos for more comfort? Then you wouldn't have to deal with seams and paper cuts.

If they come from china and are painted (which I've never seen) be concerned with lead.
China seems to have issues with paint, it seems.
For comfort and "chew" I take the rubber caps the catro's come stored in, and cut a small hole in the end (bigger than the end cap opening).
It gives me a good direct grip, and keeps the carto cleaner. Since I reuse some as many as 18 times (on one count, before the carto crapped out), the paper covering seems to get a little rough looking when I don't use the rubber cap even when I clean em up. Yeah the "bite is a little thicker, but it works. You can also leave the carto's plastic cap off and just use the rubber storage end, for quicker refilling. Slip the rubber off and drip.
