Either works with the correct Oring setup but the Button top is easiest to use and takes the same setup as when using an AW P18650 2600mAh

-Panasonic IMR 2250 Button Top: One thick Oring under the battery. One washer on the switch post.

-Panasonic IMR 2250 Flat Top: One thick and one thin Oring under the battery. Three washers on the switch post.
