How is the performance

And what one's fit best in the REO Grand.

I have not bought 18650's in a long time the my AW's have seen better days. Time to buy new battery's.

I don't have a Reo Grand, but I've been using them in my VTube and my Silver Bullet and they work great. They last better than the ones that came with the Vtube and a LOT better than the cheapo's my local shop supplied with the Silver Bullet. I think they are a quality battery.

The VTube and SB require the flat top ones, so I can't say which ones would fit best in your Grand.

Nah, I've not had to buy any 18650 batteries for several months now.

The original flat top grey Panasonic 18650CH work fine in my Grand - and any other mod I own for the size, only the provari absolutely needs nipple magnets.
They are safe chemistry and have a tad more energy than the AWs in a mechanical mod - and they are cheaper.
Get a couple of them, you won't be sorry.
BTW: Another good option are the Sony US18650V3, but I have yet to see them in the market.

I have one of the flat-tops in the rotation for my Grand (one of the early ones with the old-style firing pin). It fits just fine, but I use a magnet on it.

I use them in a cycle of 11. I got these, New! Panasonic CGR18650CH With Top Button, 2250mAh IMR High Drain 18650 Battery Cell-Made in Japan , back when they were $7 a piece. I chose the ones with the nipple just to be safe. I would say they are VERY close to the AW IMRs, I do not notice either of them to perform differently or last longer.

I picked up 10 of the button top panny 18650s in a coop buy! I friggin love them. I use them in all my 18650 mods now. They last quite a bit longer than my worn out old 1600mah AWs. They fit perfect in my Grand and Provari and SB and. . . I'd definitely recommend them if you're in the market. Just my , but that's what ya asked for, right?

Those are the ones I have for my VTube and my Silver Bullet. Orbtronic has been out of them for a while.

Sorry for the late reply, but I got the 2250mah cells as well. Great batts.

YEah, do not get the 3100 or 2900 MAH. Do not remember the exact ratings. The 2250s are the IMR Hybrids, the big ones are protected and do not work the same.

Make sure you get the correct Panasonics - they make a lot of different cells, and some are simply not suitable for vaping. Stay especially away from the Panasonic 18650CG. The one we want is the 18650CH. As far as I know it only comes as 2250 mAh
