I had read about Pandan flavoring on this forum as one of the possible constituents of the good old RY4 that everyone loved. (in a post by SethG) So, I ordered some to try it out.
When I went back to the thread to post a reply, I found that I needed to be registered. So, I registered, then tried to post a reply, and found that I can't post a reply until I have posted like 5 messages in this category. This is the stupidest rule ever. The ONLY reason why I registered was to give my valuable feedback on an interesting thread. I did NOT join simply to make random comments on things until I had acquired enough posts to post where I really wanted to post.
Silly me for wanting to post in a thread that was actually talking about the subject that I am talking about... All of that being said, I will now tell you about Pandan Flavoring.
I bought some "McCormick Pandan Flavor", which is made of artificial pandan flavor and PG. And, you know what? Pandan is wonderful!!! No, its not exactly like RY4 - but I wouldn't doubt if it's one of the ingredients in the good old Dekang RY4 that everyone loved. I do my own mixing, and the first thing I did was just vape it alone with some PG. I put about 15 drops of PG in, and about 8-10 drops of pandan, and tried it out - and YUM! You can totally vape this flavor by itself. It has an almost tobaccoey quality to it - dark and intriguing.
The next thing I tried was mixing it with some blueberry eliquid that I made myself using some Blueberry Extra from The Perfumer's Apprentice (which is awesome too).... OMG - it's sooo good! Just a little bit added to my blueberry made it so much more interesting, and some real competition for the RY4 that I can't find anymore.
Thanks, SethG! I wouldn't have known about this if it weren't for you. However, because of the idiocy of the way this forum is organized, I can neither leave a PM to thank you, or reply to your thread. I hope by some random happen-stance that you actually see this message, since I probably won't ever post a message here again.
PS: If you are a member who can actually post or PM, then please pass my thanks along to SethG.
